Stop At: Holmenkollen Ski Museum, Kongeveien 5, Oslo 0787 Norway
The Holmenkollen Tour provides some breathtaking views over Oslo and surrounding Oslofjord as we climb over 450 metres to the north of the city. Once we arrive you will get a close up view of the ski jump arena and tower. Next door you will find the ski museum with over 4000 years of history including skis and equipment from the Nansen and Amundsen expeditions to the North and South Poles. There is also an alpine ski centre and several hundred kilometres of cross country ski trails popular with hikers and hill walkers in the summer. Holmenkollen was the site of the 1952 Winter Olympics plus World Championship skiing events from 1966, 1982 and 2011.
Should you be feeling brave you can visit the top of the tower and for the even braver descend back down on the zip wire. Or if you want to simply relax, refreshments are available at Frognerseteren. Sit outside with a drink enjoying the panoramic views of the city and fjord below.

They were patient (we brought our 5 and 3 year old boys) with our kids and always made sure they were safe and taken care of. Of course the sites were breathtaking, it’s Norway! I can’t say enough, it was the best experience and helped me fall in love with Oslo. So grateful to our wonderful guides. 100% will take this tour again next time I am in the country. Thank you Per Arne and Andrzej! My husband and I and our 1 friend(separate sidecar) recommend anyone to try this tour; it's so much better than using a tour bus.
