We usually pass by Fort Pickens, a pre-Civil War fort that is a large part of Penscola History. Enjoy a unique view of the Fort from Pensacola Bay.

We were not prepared to spend 90 minutes on a sand dune. Perhaps our fault for not reading closer. Other than that a great experience. The staff was entertaining and knowledgeable.
