Enjoy uninterrupted views of glacier-carved cliffs on your Milford Sound cruise aboard the Gem of the Sound. The Gem is Milford's only vessel with two glass roofs, guaranteeing you the best viewing opportunities in the fiord!
With spacious booth seating indoors, an open sun deck up top, a covered deck at the rear and a spacious viewing platform at the bow, your cruise comfort is guaranteed.
Visit the onboard Café Bar for an array of substantial hot and cold snacks, or simply savour a local wine or beer as you bask in the beauty of the surrounds.

If coach tour from Queenstown or Te Anau is selected, return transport in an air conditioned coach and lunch on board the two hour cruise is included.

Great boat with lots of indoor and outdoor to see the sounds from loved been on the very top deck to see the waterfall. The screens in the cabin were great to watch while we had a drink. would recommend this boat 🚢 👌

Good check in at terminal. Modern clean vessel with plenty of seating. Complimentary tea and coffee, plus food and snacks to purchase. Good commentary, and close up views of waterfalls and side of sounds.

We had such a great trip. Boat skipper was informative and entertaining and clearly loves his job. Food was great. Milford Sounds is gorgeous even on a rainy day. Staff were excellent. Couldn't have enjoyed my bucket list trip more.

The drive to the sounds was amazing...then the boat ride and the next level...the highlight of the trip. The commentary and sevice on the boat was exceptional. This is truly a bbeautiful place and a must do for ALL.
