The thrill of the "hunt" searching for whales & then coming up pretty close to two adults thanks to some great guess work by skipper Nathan. We encountered 4 breaches & a farewell tail slap that our group witnessed close up - perhaps 30 to 50 metres directly beside the boat. Searching for the whales' tell-tale footprint on the ocean was intriguing & kept everyone trying to estimate the spot where they would reaapear. Everyone enjoyed the experience. The sea had some swell rolling through but didn't upset anyone; me notably as I have had the odd motion wooziness in the past. The return run was a blast & we did plenty of wave jumping.Wonderful opportunity to see Noosa coast line, playful dolphins and a number of humpback whales. Wonderful opportunity to see Noosa coast line, playful dolphins and a number of humpback whales. Skipper Nathan was organised, provided spray jackets, life jackets, dry humour and addressed us by name on board. He deftly negotiated the Noosa bar crossing, was informative of local knowledge of land and sea. In the two hour time frame he went the extra mile determined to give us a sighting which took us further south and we were happily rewarded with a number of whales within metres of the boat. A great and memorable experience. Our tour guide Nathan was a cool dude and made our day fun and easy. We ended up seeing couple of dolphins and a big whale with a baby whale. The day was beautiful and the whole experience was fun and exciting . Thank you !

The boat is well maintained and in good condition. It takes a maximum of 12 passengers so getting a look around is no problem. The skipper is professional and very competent. The ride was really good considering how sloppy the sea was. We saw a small pod of whales with only a calf breaching the surface. It was a little far away from us but it was still neat to see. If there was a criticism, it was that we spent the first 15 minutes or so looking for dolphins when I would have preferred heading straight out in search of whales. It is a minor criticism though as the tour was definitely worth while and recommended. This is a must when visiting Noosa. I wanted to finish the holidays with a bang and this ride delivered. This is a must when visiting Noosa. I wanted to finish the holidays with a bang and this ride delivered. The views, the adrenaline ride over the Noosa Bar into a one metre swell. My 18 year old daughter and I were sitting in the front, the best place to get an amazing experience. We changed seats a number of times so everyone has a chance to experience the front. The views looking back towards the main land was fantastic. The rock formations the large swell hitting the rocks was so good. There is a hint to save your back and bottom stand up and use your legs as shock absorbers. Amazingly the best was still to come! Whale, whale was the call and to our right was a small pod of whales. An infant breaching out of the water just near us and the size of the adults was so great to see. Then a large pod of dolphins swam right beside us with infants, sea eagles and the awes and aha continues smiles were on everyone’s faces. This ride is a must for locals and tourists. Yes the whales are sessional but the views and dolphins are part of our amazing area.
