Itinerary

You’ll explore stunning sections of wilderness on this two-hour trip, providing a chance to spot wildlife that you might not get to see while on foot. Plus, our friendly, experienced guides will teach you a few cowboy tricks along the way.

Pass by natural sulphur hot springs as you make your way to one of Banff’s national historic sites: the Cave and Basin. Trek along the tranquil Bow River and take in magnificent views of the Bow Valley before pressing through thick marshes as you climb Sulphur Mountain.

You’ll then continue up to Windy Knoll where you can take striking photos of the sweeping landscape.

Brilliant trail ride on the two hour sundance route. Horses and guides are fab, and catered for all abilities. Would definitely recommend and come back. Thank you to the guides, staff and horses at Warner Stables!

Didn't appreciate the lack of information on the 2 1/2 hour drive from Calgary (should be 90 min) or the 1/2 hour fight through Banff to arrive late and lose our ride due to the lack of flexibility at the ranch. Last bucks that ever get spent in Banff.

The wonderful care of the staff: whether you are on four legs or two, everyone is treated with great care and respect. We had extraordinary views of the Rockies and the trip was at a wonderful, relaxing pace that the whole family enjoyed...and that's hard to do for us since our age range is 8 to ...

When in Banff, if you get a chance, take in the Horseback BBQ. On our ride, we were guided by the nicest cowgirls. They were able to answer questions about the names of mountains, and types of wildlife we may possibly see.

What better way to see the scenery than from the back of a horse. Did the two hour ride with Gringo. Other than the fact that I don't like western saddles I had a great time. Lovely to ride through the trees and we even saw a couple of elk. It had been raining though we got sunshine for our ride....
