Overview
Cenote diving is accessible starting with
level 1 or Open Water.
You will dive in caverns with all the specific diving material provided(lights, 5 mm wetsuits...) Tours are given respecting the highest levels of security with ample space, always close to one of the exits and numerous air holes. You will have permanent visual contact with natural light. A show and emotions are guaranteed!
Depending on the cenotes visited, you can observe millions of limestone formations, fossils, prehistoric bone formations, native animal species and the halocline. One of the best diving tours in the world…exclusively in Tulum with La Calypso.

What to expect
We'll first meet in our place to get you fully equiped. Then we'll drive our vehicle to the amazing cenote Dos Ojos. It means "two eyes" because there are actually 2 different cenotes there. You will do 2 different divings using one tank per dive and following the 2 lines : barbie line and bat cave. You'll observe millions of limestone formations (stalactites, stalagmites and columns), endemic fishes, incredible plays of lights and many underwater surprises !

- Not wheelchair accessible
- Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive. These divings are only for minimum open water certified divers. Scuba divers will only be able to dive in Casa cenote with non certified divers.
- Diving 12 hours before flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

Dos Ojos would be my first ever cenote dive, and I didn't feel nervous or uneasy once (thanks to the La Calypso team). 4 is the maximum number of divers per group, but I got lucky and had a one-on-one experience with Victor. He's an amazing instructor, clearly very skilled, patient, experienced, friendly and just all-round great to be around. The dive shop was easy to find, the equipment was in great shape and the dive itself was breathtaking. Next time I'm in Tulum I'll definitely dive with La Calypso!Alex was an amazing diving instructor, taking care of everything and reminded me about the lessons I learned during the course. We had a proper briefing before the dives and went through all the rules for during the dives at Dos Ojos. I would definitly recommand Calypso Diving center to experience the magic of the cenotes of Tulum!The experience with La Calypso was amazing!
