What to expect
Wake up on Day 2 for a morning Jeep tour of Wadi Rum and then travel to the Dead Sea. At the Dead Sea, float in the salty water, soak up some sun on the beach, or slather yourself in mineral-rich mud. The day concludes with a return transfer to Amman and drop-off at your hotel.

I did a custom 2-day tour (2 days, 1 night) with Khalil of Alamal Tourism, which I had to do over one weekend, because I am here on business travel. Khalil was an outstanding, very personable guide with great English! He really cares about sharing the culture and history of Jordan and makes sure that you get as deep an understanding of it as possible in a short trip. He shares many interesting facts and stories about the sites you visit and always makes sure you are comfortable and happy with the trip. I did a lot of things in just two days but felt like I was able to learn a lot due to Khalil's excellent help. He also advises you on safety and security issues as well, which ensured that I was as safe as possible as a female traveling alone. I went to Petra for four hours, followed by lunch and an afternoon 2-hour jeep tour of Wadi Rum desert and then overnight at Rum Magic Camp in a luxury bubble tent. There I experienced the delicious Bedouin evening meal called zarb, a unique undergroundmeat roasting preparation (lamb, chicken, and roasted veggies) that Khalil explained to me so I would understand the process and cultural significance of the meal. The camp also provided a wonderful breakfast buffet, and then we continued on on day 2 to see Aqaba, take a boat ride on the Red Sea to see coral in a glass bottom boat, and traversed the Dead Sea road with several stops along the way to see beautiful views of the Dead Sea and camel caravans. It was an outstanding experience that I will remember forever! Khalil provided a great introduction to several areas of Jordan, its geography, and culture; and I am now eager to return for a future trip with friends! We had a wonderful 2 days trip with Mohamed as driver to dead sea and castles in the desert. We were with our 3 kids and Mohamed has been very professional and flexible. We never felt rushed and all our questions were answered patiently. Mohamed took us to a local restaurant where we experienced an excellent Maklouba. We learned so much about Jordan history. A big thanks to Mohamed once again!
