Stop At: Mikumi Park, A7, Mikumi National Park Tanzania
While driving to Mikumi national park enjoy the countryside and your guide will give you a lot of information about the country and the culture, you will be picked up from your Hotel 5am and this ride will take about 7 hrs, on your arrival you will check in and go for sunset safari. Expect to see a lot of animals and beautiful landscape, Mikumi is rich of buffaloes, lions, elephants, giraffes, crocs, zebra, hippos and more to mention. Enjoy the sunset just next to the hippo dam and then drive to your camp for hot dinner and overnight inside the park

Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Tanzania
In the morning advised to start early 6:30am good time to see more animals, game drive will go up to 5 hours and 12pm we will leave the park experience en route game drive slowly drive so that you can take pictures, then drive to Dar es salaam, where you will arrive in the late evening and be dropped off at the hotel
We will have a stop for lunch in Morogoro town which is 2 hours driving from Mikumi National Park

An amazing and unforgettable safari trip which was way above our expectations. We saw lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, elands, buffaloes, jackals, hornbills, baboons, warthogs, mongeese, crocodiles, eagles and lots & lots of impalas. With such a short trip (2 days) we did...
An amazing and unforgettable safari trip which was way above our expectations. We saw lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, elands, buffaloes, jackals, hornbills, baboons, warthogs, mongeese, crocodiles, eagles and lots & lots of impalas. With such a short trip (2 days) we didn't expect to see such a huge amount of wildlife so we were delighted. Communication beforehand was excellent, with Edward in regular contact to answer all our questions, make arrangements and offer helpful suggestions. We were collected from the Zanzibar ferry in a comfortable minivan for the drive to Morogoro the day before the safari, and driven back to Dar Es Salaam afterwards - all very flexible and tailored to our needs. Our friendly safari guide Fred was excellent at spotting the wildlife and extremely knowledgeable about all the species, with lots of interesting facts as we drove around. He made sure we saw as much as possible and we were definitely not disappointed! Overall we had an outstanding experience, and would thoroughly recommend Safaris Partners for anyone visiting Mikumi.rpd051

Well organized, good communication. We made a last-minute arrangement, it was no problem. We are very happy with our 2-day safari in Mikumi. We had a minor misunderstanding which has been appropriately and sufficiently picked up by the owner upon our return to Morogoro town.

This was a 5 star tour from start to finish! We got collected from our hotel, in a very comfortable, spacious car for our 5 hour journey to Mikumi. This was a 5 star tour from start to finish! We got collected from our hotel, in a very comfortable, spacious car for our 5 hour journey to Mikumi. We stopped along the way for a very tasty bite and then continued on our way. We arrived at the park to a big welcome from the staff there. After checking in we began our Safari. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide with many years experience. After a busy day searching for elephants, lions, zebras and so much more we settled into our camp for the night. The food at the camp was amazing, I didn't expect it to be so good. Even though the camp is in the park, it feels very secure and also has mosquito nets around the bed which helps from any worries about bites. After a great night sleep at the camp we set off for the second day of our tour. I was amazed at what we saw in the morning. So many elephants and we got up so close to them. We also found some lions as well. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Excellent service of transfers to the camp and a very enjoyable Safari.M7543YLzoew

If you are even considering visiting Mikumi, you must go with the fantastic team at Safari Partners. The staff are truly gens who welcomed me with open arms. Edward responded to my questions seemingly before I even pressed send. Halmisi picked me up in a very nice and comfortable car and stopped at all the roadside stands that I thought looked interesting to let me try new foods (fresh pineapple and fresh pastries and Maasai bbq). Patrick is the best guide you could ever ask for in Mikumi. Beyond seeing nearly every animal (he has lots of guide friends, so if one of his friends sees a lion, they call him and tell him where to go), he had the biggest heart. He taught me more Swahili in 2 days that I learned in a 12 week class and all with a joking smile on his face. He is truly an expert on the park and wants to get to know you as friends (he called me his granddaughter). I highly recommend choosing the Vuma Hills accommodation for luxury camping. The food is all from local farms and markets, you eat dinner with monkeys, and wake up to a beautiful view of the park. I could not recommend a trip to Mikumi any more with Safari Partners.
