Day 1: Day 1
Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Mikumi National Park, Morogoro Region
Transfer to Mikumi national park
Pick up from your accommodation in Dar- es-salaam at 6:00am; embark on a drive to Mikumi national park. Check I at your lodge at the park, later head for game drive in the park in search for elephants, girafess, lions, hippos in the hippos pools, warthogs, buffaloes, elands etc. later head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Day 2
Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Mikumi National Park, Morogoro Region
Morning game drive and transfer.
Get up early in the morning and head for an early morning game drive in the park search for wild game that you could have not seen the previous day. Later head back to the lodge check out and transfer to Dar- Salaam arriving in the evening.

Took a day trip to Mikumi National Park from Dar-es-Salaam with my 2 boys (10 & 7 yrs) 3 days ago. Benson was our guy on the ground in Morogoro. He organized every single detail of our trip. We drove from Dar in our personal car, and he met us there on arrival. All accommodation and Safari logistics were already organised prior to our arrival, all we did was freshen up, went to a nearby snake park to hold a few snakes and tortoises, then retired to bed in a comfortable and cool room. A tailored breakfast was ready for the 3 of us at 0600hrs, and Benson in his safari Jeep at the gate at 0620hrs. We boarded the completely open safari jeep and drove about 12 min to the park entrance. At first I thought it was nuts taking 2 small kids to the wilderness in an open car, but by the time we arrived at the gate, all doubts had gone away. 15 min registration, payments and permit acquisition at the park entrance then we were on our way to what turned out to be the best day trip my kids have ever had. Benson is a very experienced driver and guide, he knows almost everything there is to know about the wilderness. He can tell a story about animals' whereabouts by just looking at the ground. We saw tonnes of beautifull animals, sometimes at scary proximity. We would have loved to do more sightseeing but a day trip was more than enough for my boys. Thank you very much Benson. My sister and I were doing vacation in Zanzibar. Our plan was to come to Tansania for a Game Drive. We got Bensons contact from friends that we met in Zanzibar. From the beginning he was really nice and helped us plan the whole trip to Tansania. The day before the safari we met at a local restaurant, ate something, had a nice time and talked about the upcoming Game Drive. Why could I not Imagine having a better Game Drive? Benson was the perfect Guide. He was really kind, helpful and funny. Being on tour for the whole day in one car makes you want to have a good Guide. We definitely had one. But of course we also went there to see as many animals as possible and getting the best impression of the wild life in the Mikumi Park. We saw every animal you could possibly see in the Mikumi Park!! besides the hyenas. Especially seeing the Leopard and Lyons was a real highlight. All this together with a really really good price compared to the other Guides makes me recommend Benson to 100% Thanks again for this amazing trip Benson!it was an amazing experience with Mr Ben !
