Both , my guide and my driver were perfect ! The Hotel was a bad one , far away from the town ,dirty, uncomfortable room , but ,it was just one night . I warmly recommend the Tour and hope that the Tour operator will choose another hotel .

Booked this tour plus a full day sightseeing around Vientiane through Viator, certainly did not regret it, our guide spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable about his country, looked after our comfort and made sure the restaurants he chose for us for lunch were clean and the Lao food was excellent. He saw that we were moved to a better Hotel in Vang Vieng off his own bat by contacting head office when he decided that the original one would not be suitable for us, for that we thank him and Bravo tours. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Vietnam or Laos. The trip was alright except that it ended about 2pm instead of late noon.. which is earlier than expected..for solo traveler also be prepared to top up additional of more than usd 80, for the travel agent to cover cost. The trip was alright except that it ended about 2pm instead of late noon.. which is earlier than expected..for solo traveler also be prepared to top up additional of more than usd 80, for the travel agent to cover cost. If Trip advisor would also consider having WhatsApp or message system to allow the user to communicate with the service provider, it would have saved me 2 hours from the delay happened.I was not able to reach the tour guide at the beginning of the tour. The driver was great and nice river ride with fabulous sunset. The view from the hotel room was great too!

Not sure of the spelling of their names, but the company would know who they are. We would recommend friends and family to ask for them both for guides on trips to Vientiane and the surrounding countryside!

My guide, Kong, met me right on time in Vientiane for this two day overnight tour to Vang Vieng and I was happy to discover I was the only participant! All along the way, Kong indicated points of interest up Road 13. The highlight for me on the first morning was the visit the 11th century Buddha carvings in the sandstone at Wang Xang where Kong was yet again informative and knowledgeable about the geography, the technique and the historical background of the carvings. Once we got to Vang Vieng, we took one of the long tail boats along the Nam Xong but the best part was the our walk through the newly harvested rice fields. Some of the most memorable scenic beauty I have ever encountered and Kong was a perfect companion with his delightful commentary. Hotel accommodation was quite adequate in VV...no complaints. Near the night market and some good restaurants. The next day's highlight for me was the lengthy visit we took to the nearby Hmong village of Pha Thao. Kong's talent as a guide lies in his ability to interact so knowledgeably and naturally with people he meets. I felt like a got lessons in history, art, agricultural practices, Lao sociology, Lao language, Buddhism and much more. With Mr. La at the wheel of our vehicle and Kong providing the commentary, this was possibly one of the more memorable guided trips I have taken. Well done to Kong and La!
