Join this tour along Iceland's south coast to discover its stunning glaciers, lava fields, volcanoes, strong rivers and waterfalls. You will also see an amazing black beach scattered with icebergs, next to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. The stunning Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is where huge icebergs float in ice cold water and seals swim around them.
The highlights of the tour are a boat tour in Jokulsarlon the glacier lagoon in front of the biggest glacier in Europe which is located in the most amazing National park in Iceland AND a walk on blue ice in Solheimajokull. Our glacier guides are professionals and they will provide you all safety equipment needed for the Glacier Hike (crampons, ice axes, etc) and teach you how to use them in a correct way.
The scenery and views from the Glacier is stunning and you see ice sculptures and the deep crevasses of the glacier in a very clear way.

A town famous for the greenhouses and the “Hot River” of Reykjadalur, sitting in a rift valley between the two continental plates of Eurasia and America.
Pass By: Selfoss, Selfoss, South Region
Selfoss is the largest town and the capital of South Iceland
Stop At: Seljalandsfoss, Hella Iceland
You’ll be able to experience this waterfall right up close as it crashes off the side of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano from a height of 60 meters.
The path leading through the cave behind the fall will deliver one of the most spectacular sights in Iceland

Stop At: Gljufrabui Waterfalls, Porsmarkurvegur, Skogar 861 Iceland
A hidden waterfall, which most visitors miss. We’ll tell you where to find it!

Remember to ask your guide all about the colossal eruption here back in 2010, which made Iceland famous all around the world!
Stop At: Skogafoss, Skogar Iceland
Skogafoss is one of the most iconic waterfalls in the world, and even featured in “Game of Thrones”. Because of its south-facing position, it is often covered in rainbows as the 60-meter cascade of water produces a lot of spray! Skogafoss is one of the most popular sights in the country and it’s possible to climb to the top of the falls to see it from there too.

Stop At: Solheimajokull Glacier, Vik Iceland
Solheimajokull is part of one of the largest glaciers in the country, Myrdalsjokull. Here we will take on an unforgettable glacier hike, with all the necessary safety equipment provided. Enjoy the raw views while you step on the ice under care of our experienced glacier guide.

The stone sea arches of Dyrholaey can also be seen in the distance from Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
Stop At: Reynisfjara Beach, Route 215, Vik Iceland
It is now time to visit the world-famous black sand beach at Reynisfjara, where beautifully-shaped basalt columns hug the cliffs, volcanic sands are pounded by powerful Atlantic waves and the starkly shaped sea stacks of the Reynisdrangar tower just offshore.

A barren and desolate wasteland filled with moss-covered lava formations.

Stop At: Fjadrargljufur Canyon, Route 206 3.5KM off The Ring Road, Kirkjubaejarklaustur Iceland
The river canyon at Fjadrargljufur is an astonishing place, a winding green gorge about a hundred meters deep and nearly two kilometres long. Canyon got its attention after being featured in a Justin Bieber music video

Stop At: Hofskirkja Church, Hof Road, Hof Iceland
Hofskirkja was the last church of this type to be built in Iceland, dating back to the 19th century. Deep layers of turf make up the roof of the church here, which is also surrounded by moss-covered burial mounds

Stop At: Glacier Lagoon, Skaftafell National Park Route 1, Jokulsarlon 781 Iceland
Jokulsarlon truly is an extraordinary place, a bucket-list location featured in several Hollywood movies, but also very peaceful and tranquil too. The scenery is stunning, and always changing too, as wind and tides pull the icebergs in different directions all the time. Here you will take a 45-minute amphibious boat tour among the bergs, getting up close to these icy giants and maybe even seeing a seal or two as well.

Stop At: Fellsfjara, Diamond Head Drive Glacier Lagoon Jokulsarlon, Jokulsarlon Iceland
Just a few hundred yards away from the Glacier Lagoon you will see the Diamond Beach, that gets its name from the countless sparkling fragments of multi-colored icebergs found here. They are slowly being sculpted into fantastic shapes by the wind and the waves on this black sand Atlantic beach.

The best part of this trip was the Glacier Hike and Icebergs. The scenery was spectacular and the guide Christina really knowledgeable and made us feel safe and secure with safety protocol etc for going up the glacier. The amount packed into this two day trip is incredible and Christina was great...

We only gave 4 star rating for the trip as the hotel although clean was very basic, pillows not even filled, holes in wall, one bedside light, definitely falls short of its 3 star hotel rating. This two-day trip was a highlight of our time in Iceland. Some of that was part of the standard package: Each of the stops was beautiful, with scenic drives in between, and unique activities (hiking on a glacier with crampons and ice picks on Day 1 and cruising around a glacial lagoon on an amphibious vehicle on Day 2) as the centerpiece of each day. The bus was classy and comfortable with good WiFi, as was the hotel we stayed at. But what made the tour so special was our guide, Baldur, a 30th generation Icelander who made us all feel very welcome and comfortable, and taught us a TON about his country—its geology, geography, history, culture, cuisine, politics, music, folklore, religion, etc. His stories were funny but also moving and memorable. His English was PERFECT and he even helped us learn a little Icelandic. He truly went above and beyond, adding an extra stop on Day 1 to see adorable puffins, making connections between various aspects of Iceland’s past and present and the places we visited, giving great tips, and even putting together a customized soundtrack (including some hilarious attempts to circumvent laws requiring only Icelandic-language broadcasting on their lone public radio station back in the day by phonetically reproducing English pop-songs using similar-sounding Icelandic lyrics). He clearly loved his homeland a great deal, but was also well-travelled and could speak objectively about Iceland and make helpful comparisons to the US (where we’re from). I can virtually guarantee that any tour with Baldur will be super enjoyable and memorable!charleswM4850BW
