Overview
We run this special photography tour in small groups, maximum 7 adults per group, to ensure an unique and customized experience without stress and rush: we want our customers to have all the time they need to breath the magic of the Lofoten archipelago, to walk, to enjoy and to take as many pictures as they want.
You don’t have to be a professional photographer to join this tour. Our photography tour is suitable for everybody: professional photographers, photo lovers, neophytes and Arctic lovers.
The Arctic lights and colors, and the natural contrasts of this amazing land make these islands a perfect place to take unique and unrepeatable pictures and enjoy unique panoramas. During the trip, we will search for the best light and best locations.
The islands offer unique spots, breath-taking and majestic nature, unforgettable places, steep peaks which rise directly from the sea, white sand beaches and a sea so blue that it is hard to believe that you are in the Arctic.

Day 1: Discover the north of the archipelago
Stop At: Torvdalshalsen Viewpoint, 8360 Bøstad, Norway
TORVDALSHALSEN (Eggum)
It offers fantastic views over Vestvågøya, over the sea, over the countryside, over the several farms which characterize the island, and over the steep high mountains which make this spot unique and photogenic. Perfect for photo passionate.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Haukland Beach, Uttakleivveien 200, Leknes 8370 Norway
The most beautiful place in Norway - crystal clear water - white sand - the arctic paradise. We will stop and enjoy the beauty of nature.
When in Haukland, it's hard to believe we are 200 kilometers above the Polar Circle and not in the tropics!

Stop At: Eggum, Eggum, Vestvagoy, Lofoten Islands, Nordland, Northern Norway
The fishing village of Eggum lies on the seaward side of Vestvågøy island, alone between the ocean and the mountains. It faces the open sea and its landscape shows the power of nature.
Its multiple and colorful small wooden houses together lying close to the Ocean and white - sandy beach makes Eggum a perfect spot to take great pictures.

Stop At: Henningsvaer, Henningsvaer, Vagan, Lofoten Islands, Nordland, Northern Norway
"Henningsvær, the place God had built without the help of surveyors and architects": Henningsvær is the most famous and characteristic fishing village, also know as the Venice of the North.
Henningsvær is spread across a number of islands, with breakwaters and dikes bringing the fishing village together. The inhabitants were dependent on a ferry until 1982, when two bridges were built, linking the community with the rest of Austvågøya.
Many local shops and nice coffee shop to taste local and home-made cakes.

Stop At: Kabelvag Church, Kabelvag Norway
On the boat crossing to the Lofoten Islands, the towers of Lofoten Cathedral are the first sign of human habitation. For 900 years, fishermen have prepared themselves for fishing in Lofoten at the church in Kabelvåg.
The Lofoten Cathedral has an unique position, facing the Fjord.

Day 2: Discover the south of the archipelago
Stop At: Flakstadoy, Flakstadoy, Flakstad Municipality, Lofoten Islands, Nordland, Northern Norway
Flakstad beach in know for its impressive rocks and high waves, perfect to surf.
the landscape is wild: a walk on the white-sand beach is always worth it.

A wide and long sandy beach you can't miss!

Stop At: Hamnoy, Hamnoy, Moskenes Municipality, Moskenesoy, Lofoten Islands, Nordland, Northern Norway
Hamnøy isa small jewel located south, on the island of Moskensøy, with its picturesque port, fishermen's small houses built in stilts, surrounded by high mountains, the oldest of northern Europe. You will get enchanted by the beauty and delicacy of this small hamlet of its few inhabitants.

Stop At: Reine, Reine, Moskenes Municipality, Moskenesoy, Lofoten Islands, Nordland, Northern Norway
Reine is one of Lofoten’s best known fishing villages and is the centre of municipal administration in the borough of Moskenes.
Reine is also one of Norway’s most frequently photographed landscapes, and a source of inspiration for many an artist.

Stop At: Sakrisøya, Moskenes, Norway
Driving back home, we will stop in Sakrisøya where it will be possible to taste local fish and buy local products.

If you are into nature and breathtaking sights, we highly recommend their 2-day Summer and Sightseeing Tour in Lofoten. We visited many of the scenic highlights that we would not have been able to cover driving on our own. I would say the Lofoten archipelago is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. Our driver-guide Eric is a journalist and photographer so not only did we learn some new photo skills but also had some interesting discussions about Norway and the state of the world in general. We also met very nice fellow travelers in our group with whom we shared many travel tips, stories and contacts. Booking is very easy through their website and the company is very prompt in responding to all our questions. The company, based in Svolvaer, has been in business for many years so you can be assured of highly professional and reputable service.
