We just completed this two day trip with Ian (one day) and Graham (the next). It was simply wonderful. We loved it and recommend it highly. Ian met us at the ship right on time and whisked us away to Stonehenge where we dodged the lines and learned so much. Then it was off to beautiful Bath which we saw on foot and fully experienced this unusual Georgian town. Then after a night in simple accommodations in the old and quaint village of Burford it was the Cotswolds and Graham’s tour. We saw not just the sights of the discovered Cotswolds but the best of the undiscovered parts you would never find on your own. Oxford was amazing. We walked all around it, seeing the different colleges and sites of the town and the university. Both guides were professional and knowledgeable. They really knew their way around which made it just so easy for us. I only wish it could have been longer. I am hoping that we can do another tour with them sometime. I’m thinking maybe we should see Blenheim Castle!Ian was amazing, we saw the most beautiful parts of the Cotswolds where few tourists get to venture. So helpful and kind, he tailored our trip just to suit us. We do highly recommend Ian and this tour.

We have been to London a few times, but have never been more than an hour outside the congested city. This time we wanted to see areas in the country we have yearned to visit. So we arranged for this overnight tour with a personal guide to do just that. Yesterday the weather was dry and around 60 deg. Our driver Ian met us at exactly 9am as planned, after we had collected our luggage from the ship at the cruise port in Southampton, England UK. He had an 8-passenger van just for us, so there was plenty of space in the auto boot for our three pieces of luggage and one carryon. Within an hour we were in the peaceful, gorgeous countryside! In saw and experienced much more in these two days than we even imagined, and we are so glad we made the decision to experience the real England in this way. Ian made it all easy. The entrance fees to Stonehenge and the Bath Roman ruins (with audio phones) were included in the price of this tour, as well as the hotel with full breakfast. Now we have stayed in a country inn built in 1470, and had dinner in a 14th century pub/restaurant. We have see hundreds of fat sheep and cows grazing on beautiful rolling hills. We were entranced with lovely towns and villages, seen Stonehenge in person, and walked the streets of Oxford and around the university. Wonderful experiences all. Thank you, Ian, for making it all possible, and for making the detour we requested in Reading on the way to our hotel at Heathrow. Stonehenge rocks, and so do you! This was an awesome tour and personal experience. This is a fantastic tour! Our guide (Ian) brought the good weather when he picked us up at our hotel. Our van was clean, comfortable, and had AC. Ian’s knowledge of the area (Stonehenge, Bath, Costwolds, and Oxford) was very broad. He did a great job of keeping all of us entertained and engaged (not easy with a tween and teen on board). Ian also offered lots of options within the tour based on what our family wanted to do and always knew the best non-tourist places to eat. I highly recommend this tour as 2 days was a perfect pace for our family of 4.I simply cannot say enough about our tour with Ian and Jo. I simply cannot say enough about our tour with Ian and Jo. We contacted Ian several months before our tour with a request to do his 2 day Stonehenge, Cotswolds, Oxford and Bath tour in reverse - pick up in London and drop off in Southampton for a cruise. Every step of the way he was in contact with me about the plans. Jo picked up my husband and me in London and first took us to Oxford where she handed us off to a private guide who is a student at Oxford University. We had an amazing time and then, despite torrential rains, we were able to enjoy a nice viewing of the Cotswolds. After a night at the Royal Oak in Tetbury Ian picked us up for tours of Bath and Stonehenge. We especially enjoyed him giving us a guided tour of Stonehenge. We were sorry to leave in Southampton but eager for our cruise the next day. I would not hesitate to contact Ian again for another tour when we are back in the area!Ian was a wonderful tour guide. My friends and l enjoyed our experience. We highly recommend Ian for touring the Cotswolds.
