Experience desert life on a 2-day desert safari in Mhamid from Marrakech. You will sleep in a nomad camp in the Sahara Desert. You will also have the opportunity to see the sunrise and sunset on camels, and enjoy spectacular views of the legendary Kasbahs and oases.

What to expect
Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Zagora - Mhamid - Dunes of Erg Lihoudi
Pass By: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
Departure from Marrakech at 07:00 for Tizn’t Tichka. With an altitude of 2260 meters, it is the highest mountain pass in North Africa. Passing through beautiful Berber villages, you can discover the colors of the Atlas Mountains. You will discover Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a guide after lunch at a local restaurant.
You will continue towards Agdz and will be able to admire the magnificent Draa Valley. You will take another break in Zagora before arriving at the village of M'Hamid, where camels will be waiting for you. A 1 hour camel ride will take you to Erg Lihoudi dune camp in time for sunset. You will enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert, and dine around a campfire.

Day 2: Erg Lihoudi dunes - M’Hamid - Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Pass By: Erg Lihoudi Dunes & Bivouac, Mhamid, V8RJ+RPC, Mhamid el Rhozlane 47402, Morocco
You will wake up early in the morning and live the unique experience of a sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you will pick up your camel back to M'Hamid, where you can take a hot shower in the local hotel. The return road will take you to Zagora and Agdz, with a lunch break and a guided tour of the film studios (optional) of Ouarzazate. Return to Marrakech around 6:00 p.m.

This was a great adventure Mohamed was very responsive and resourceful. We added 4 people the day before the trip and he has been able to find us a bigger van and accommodate all of us It is a little bit of a hike from marrakech (around 400km) but the sceneries on the road are amazing Arriving...

The camp was surprisingly comfortable with electricity in the tents and really toilets/showers The team at the camp was really nice and the diner and breakfast quite good665monicaq
