Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Selous game reserve

Stop At: Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania
Morning pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 8am and drive to Selous game reserve for 6 hours. Arrive for hot lunch from the camp and take a short break. Later leave for boat drive with great chance to see hippos, crocodiles, fishes at river and return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Selous African camp/ Selous Jimbiza camp.

Day 2: Selous game drive

Pass By: Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania
After breakfast in the morning with your lunch boxes enjoy full day game inside the game reserve, great animal sightings including all the great favorites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species like hunting dogs and birds in the afternoon after lunch then proceed with the game drive until evening and overnight at the Selous African safari camp/Selous Jimbiza camp.

Day 3: Walking and Selous game drive

Stop At: Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania
Leave for morning walking forest in Selous forest with the possible to see elephants, different tree species, birds and local people, return to the camp for the breakfast and drive the game drive inside the park with the packed lunch while dinner and overnight at Selous African safari camp/Selous Jimbiza camp.

Day 4: Selous to Mikumi national park.

After breakfast with your lunch boxes drive to Mikumi National Park 6 hours driving, arrive late afternoon/evening with en route game drive in Mikumi national park you will able to see zebras, impala, giraffe and elephants and dinner overnight at Tanswiss lodge/Bastian camp

Day 5: Mikumi game drive

Stop At: Mikumi National Park, A7, Mikumi, Tanzania
After breakfast from with picnic lunches drive for full day game drive in Mikumi national park, during evening return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight at Mikumi Bastian camp/ Tanswiss lodge

When you are in Mikumi you will be able to see wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants.

Day 6: Udzungwa mountains national park

Stop At: Udzungwa Mountains National Park, Kidayi Tanzania
After breakfast from the lodge take 2 hour drive to Udzungwa mountains national park, upon arrival you will be taken with professional ranger/guide and take few hours hike to Sanje waterfalls, take bath if you will like, learn more about monkeys and birds. While dinner and overnight at Udzungwa Hondo Hondo camp.

Day 7: Uduzungwa/Mikumi to Ruaha national park

Pass By: Ruaha National Park, Iringa Tanzania
After breakfast with picnic lunch have en-route visit local villages & farms in Udzungwa Mountains and drive to Iringa town for 6 hours. On the way pass through the Kitonga Hills which are part of the Udzungwa Mountains. The road then follows the Great Ruaha River and then climbs the Great Rift Escarpment. Arrive in Iringa and drive to Neema Crafts for en route and then drive to Ruaha hilltop lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ruaha game drive

Stop At: Ruaha National Park, Iringa Tanzania
After breakfast from lodge drive to Ruaha national park for the game drive. Enjoy a full day game drive with packed lunch provided, nice view of Ruaha river valley, great animals sightings like Kudu, wildebeests, elephants, zebra, lions, hippos, hartebeest, impala, antelope, giraffe, buffalo and many of them while dinner and overnight at Ruaha hilltop lodge

Day 9: Ruaha to Iringa

Stop At: Ruaha National Park, Iringa Tanzania
After breakfast from the lodge drive to the park for the game drive with packed lunches. Enjoy game drive inside the park with the great chance to see many animals like Impala, Buffaloes and many more. Take your lunch in afternoon. Later during evening the park and drive to Iringa for dinner and overnight at Zakin or Alexandra hotel/ Neema craft lodge
