What to expect
The one night two days camel safari is an option for those who have a short time but still want to experience some longer rides and experience of desert life style during these 2 days and a night under the desert moon and stars.Your trip starts from Jaisalmer by jeep and you’ll be dropped off to meet your camel. Enjoy the camel ride of about two or three hours with visit of 2 village than break for lunch and rest to avoid hot and sun, Take rest under the tree shade, enjoy a freshly made lunch by camel drivers. After lunch you ride camel to the sand dunes while watching some wildlife.reach the sand dunes to enjoy watching beautiful sunset in a secluded and peaceful location.After sunset enjoy tea and snacks with a bonfire (winter only) while the camel men cook dinner fresh desert style in front of you.After dinner relax and count as many stars as you can. Wake up early if you wish to have sunrise.
Day 2 start with breakfast and after breakfast camel ride, experience the ride thought thar desert with visit local village, see local wild life, break for another lunch (made freshly by camel man on camp fire)and rest under tree shade, some more camel ride to pick up point to returned beck.

I always wanted to have this desert camping experience. I had a expectation about it and this tour provided me everything. First they took us to a historic village and show us some good places around. Then we went towards the desert to meet ours guides and start the camel riding. They are beautiful and sensitive animals and they seemed to be treated very well. It took us about 45 minutes to reach the place where you'd camp. They cooked us great Indian food, played local music and we had amazing chatting. Summing up, it was a great moment for me. Very happy with this company. We visited ruins, villages and a Oasis to get in touch with the region. After that, so much fun riding the camels with a lovely sunset view. But that was just the beginning! The tour guides made so delicious food for us and very abundant. They taught me to make Chapati, something I will always be grateful for and they played Rashastany music. It was amazing to get to know them and share nice talks under the stars. If you are planning to do this tour, please do not miss sleeping under the stars, one of the most memorable experience in my life. What we really liked also Is that camels are Free to their willing after the ride and for all the night. And also all the trash we made during the tour was taken back with us, that’s for me a very important sign of responsible tourism. Enjoyed walking on sand dune and took so many pictures . Sunset was amazing. Evening started with some poakora and chai and bonfire. Veg dinner was very delicious. The staff surprised me with Churma (a Rajasthani sweet dish) for my birthday arranged by DevilalJi. This was unforgetable ,never celebrated like this before ..some great singing by camel drivers and had big bedsheet of star to look at while sleeping. Thanks DevilalJi for the making good arrangements. And thank you for the staff of Shahi Safari for being such amazing gentle souls! They were so caring without being over the top. Overall, I recommend you go with Shahi Safari. They have a great location, great staff and if DeviJi come with you, it'll be great fun!
