Once on board the 24 foot Elecltric Catamaran you will be able to see the organizim that lights up the water like the movies. If the weather permits it you will also be able to see a lit up sky as the stars come out one by one.

Very professional guide and respectful of the environment. The pick-up was punctual and friendly. We learned a lot about this fragile ecosystem and the experience was breathtaking. I just hope that pollution does not destroy this beautiful bay and its glowing so that they can continue showing this beautiful place to people. The bioluminescence (bio = life, luminescence = light) is caused by single-cell marine plankton known as dinoflagellates that glow in a blue-green color when disturbed. The glow percentage varies based on the water temperature, moon cycles, water currents, and other ecological factors.Magical experience! Pickup was on time and van was clean. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Eddie shared lots of intersting educational information throughout the boat ride. And the bioluminescence was MAGICAL!

Tour guide really explained well the science behind the bay and added bonus taught us some astrology as well. This was on a boat. I have also done tour by kayak. Both are with doing. I highly recommend this tour.
