This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Mikumi National Park, Morogoro Region
Your driver guide will pick you from your hotel at 04:00am and drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 to 6 hours’ drive. You will have a short break on the way for breakfast. On arrival in Mikumi National Park you will start with game drive and after few hours you will have break for lunch. After lunch you will proceed with game drive up to 15:00pm, and then drive back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be dropped to the hotel or airport for your late flight back home.
Mikumi National Park was established in1964 covering an area of 1070 square kilometers; it was later extended in 1975 to cover the current area of 3, 230 square kilometers. Mikumi National Park is located to the North of the famous Selous Game Reserve. The park is the fifth largest National Park in Tanzania and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam throughout the year. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles and many more.

Tiere sehen, sogar einen Leoparden hat er entdeckt, obwohl sich dieser Hunderte Meter entfernt auf einem Baum versteckte. Er wollte den Tag für uns unvergesslich machen und hat dies auch definitiv geschafft...

Des bananes et pastèques en dessert. On a vu presque tous les animauxVi hadde en fantastisk dag 8.1.23 med en veldig flott guide (husker dessverre ikke navnet hans) fra Africa Pangolin Safaris. Vi kjørte i ca 10 timer og hadde 4 + timer i parken hvor vi så utrolig mange dyr. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

The safari was a memorable snapshot for me and Mt daughter. The day started early. 4 am to be exact. That's the time we were picked up by our driver and Guide Yunis who was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. The day trip worked out perfectly for us as we only had 3 days left in Tanzania. We started seeing different species of animals as soon as we got into the park but before the .ain gate which was 15 minutes away. First there was the baboon families, the warthog from Lion King, them the giraffes, impala ND more. But it was when we saw the lions in the park, a lioness and four large cubs that stile the show. We continued to several watering holes where we saw hippos, crocs and water Buffalo. Yunus was great. We stopped and brought fruit along the highway. Watermelon, mango, tomatos,, all freshly grown and organic. I forgot to mention the breakfast stop along the way where we had spaghetti with bell peppers, onions, no sauce or meat, a cabbage dish with chicken, a boiled egg and plantains. All were flavorful and great. Overall I highly recommend the day trip safari. It's worth every moment of it.
