Stop At: Charyn Canyon, Charyn National Park, Charyn River Kazakhstan
When we arrival to the Charyn Canyon, you will admire the view ! Walk around 3 km through the maze of the Castles Valley with its walls of bizarre shapes overhanging you. The bottom of the Canyon has slight descend to the end of the walk, where you will get to the fresh oasis on the bank of icy cold Charyn river, where also located eco-park with several Yurts.
After some rest return back to Almaty

I just want to give my thoughts about the trip. I throughly enjoyed the entire trip. We had a few (mechanical) problems but our tout guide handled everything in a most professional manner. He is a great guy and a wonderful guide and driver . I really liked the number of people on the trip. A small number made the trip much more personal. I would be very interested in another tour with Tauguide.There’s a reason why there’s a smile on everyone’s face after they’ve come back from an active adventure – because they’re happier for it! De prive tour die Tau (zo klinkt zijn voornaam in het Nederlands) was zeer persoonlijk en boordevol ervaringen. Tau pikte me op aan mijn hotel en vandaar reden we Almaty uit. Al van bij de start stelde Tau me op mijn gemak over wat komen zou en gaf hij op mijn vragen over het leven in Kazachstan, de geschiedenis, de politiek etc zijn persoonlijke visie. De uitstap zelf in de Canyon was echt wel adembenemend. Je kan doorheen de canyon wandelen tot aan de rivier en tegelijk de geschiedenis van het gesteente meekrijgen. Onderaan is een interessante eco-plaats waar je ook kan logeren. Op de terugweg zijn we in een typisch lokaal restaurant gaan eten wat zeer interessant was (vlees van schapenschenen bv.) alsook confronterend (zeer primitieve toiletten). Echt de moeite om een bezoek aan de stad Almaty te combineren met een tocht georganiseerd door Tau. Fijne groeten, philip [email protected]Can highly recommend both the tour and the guide! If you want to escape for a really relaxing day,strongly recommend you!
