Great tour! Ali is an awesome guide with TONS of knowledge about the area and the food and food history. Most of the stops were great with the exception being the stops for lamb stew (too gamy for me) and the second to last stop where we ate meat cooked in sheep stomach and rice-stuffed muscles. Otherwise, the rest of the food was awesome, especially the breakfast selections. We ate so much that I didn’t need to eat any more after that the entire evening. Great value for money! FYI, please don’t be “those tourists” who didn’t tip. Turkey needs tourist income and Ali works VERY hard to provide a great experienceWe thoroughly enjoyed our food tour. The meals were delicious and the Erbil our guide is so knowledgeable. He kindly paced us to not get too full too quickly, but due to my lack of self control, I was too full already for our last 2 stops 🤣 now we’re planning to go back to some of the restaurants...

Between the soup, the kabobs, the sweets…its impossible to pick a favorite (ok, the special kabob was the best, followed by the soup). The rain scared off a couple people from the tour, but it was definitely their loss. Highly recommend no matter what kind of traveler you are. You learn more and more about the culture as you enjoy delicious foods and get to know other travelers. This tour was amazing. Sinan was a perfect tour guide. Really knowledgeable, really friendly.
