We took 4 day safari tour and visited Tarangire, Serengti and Ngorongoro. Our driver Salehe showed us much more than what we had expected and took care of us very well. People who joined the tour had different schedules but it was perfectly arranged. I already miss the tilapia dish that Rashid made for us with limes! Highly recommend this tour. From start to finish the trip was amazing. From start to finish the trip was amazing. Our guide, Asante(y?), was very knowledgable and nice. The car was of good quality. The food was very nice. We had our own chef brought with us. Whilst other safari tours we saw had lunchboxes with small cartons of juice. We got full meals with chicken, rice and veggies for lunch. Dinner and breakfast was also very nice. I found that this tour got me everything that i wanted to see and experience in the nationalparks of Tanzania. We saw the big 5, we slept in tents on the campsite, right in the middle of the serengeti fields for a night, got plenty of good pictures. Asanteys driving was comfortable in both the parks and in traffic in stark contrast to what traffic is usually like throught the cities in Tanzania. The only negatives i can recommend meru slope do anything is about is getting 1 or more better binoculars in the car, and slightly grease up the window back in the left. While yousaw everything we wanted and more including the big 5. food was delicious and there was always lots of it. camping was also great fun with the fun group we had!

Had a great safari led by Douglas with chef Abdoulah. The food was great, and I even took a few soup recipes from him. Geofrey the tour manager was very organized and always answered all my questions quickly. We saw all the animals, even rhinos and 2 leopards.. Douglas was a great driver and spotted lots of animals and was great to stop and back up so we could get the best pictures. Overall highly recommend Meru Slopes, it was great value for money and a great experience. This was quite possibly the most incredible experience of my life. This was quite possibly the most incredible experience of my life. Of course, part of that is simply being immersed in the safari and seeing these beautiful animals and scenery, but Meru Slopes made it extra special!! Our cook, Buga, was fantastic. Food was delicious, different every day, and we were fed way more than we could eat! Our driver, Asantael, was great as well, he knew where to look for the different animals; we had a ton of up close and personal visits with many animals, we found the big 5, and he was able to answer all our questions about the different species; he was very knowledgeable. I opted for the “budget” option, staying in simple rooms or a tent, while others in the group opted for a more comfortable option, paying extra to stay in luxury lodges each night; there’s something for everyone! This was the trip of a lifetime, and I’m so glad I went with Meru Slopes!
