Wow, what a day we had with Rotorua Canopy Tours! The "Ultimate Tour" was just amazing—ziplining through Rotorua's ancient forests is definitely something you gotta try. The whole experience felt like a real-life adventure movie. Jaz and Vincent, our guides, were super cool. They really know their stuff, from all the zipline gear to the coolest facts about the forest and its wildlife. They made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun, even those of us a bit nervous about heights at first. Plus, they were really great at making us laugh and keeping things light. The ziplines themselves were a major thrill—fast, fun, and with killer views. And that controlled descent? Absolutely awesome! Highly recommend Rotorua Canopy Tours if you're up for some excitement and want to see some incredible spots in Rotorua. Massive thanks to Jaz and Vincent for a day we won't forget! 😃

Jessie and Ruben were the best guides ever! As someone who absolutely hates heights and wanted to test my limits, when it got too hard they were super kind and reassuring! I highly highly recommend canopy tours as not only is it thrilling, it’s educational and knowing that the money goes back to support their efforts to protect Mamaku forest and make the bird life have a safer home to live in. They truly are amazing

Staff were incredibly knowledgeable, reassuring and had great banter as well. The tour guides Fran and Shane really got to know everyone personally and made the experience so much fun. Definitely one of my favourite experiences in New Zealand so far!

This experience was fantastic and so much fun. I was with a group of six who had never been ziplining before and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our guides, Andrew & Stephen, were great value and did all the hard work for us, making sure we were safe the whole way through. We basically had to sit back and enjoy the ride, well except for the stairs we had to climb and the swing bridges plus forest we had to walk through but even that was fun. :)

Truly a fantastic nature experience. My partner and I had the time of our lives zip lining through one of New Zealand's ancient native forests. It was as beautiful as it was exhilarating. Our guides Jana and Mitch were awesome. They were friendly, professional, and made us feel at ease throughout the excursion. Had the most amazing experience on the Dawn Canopy Tour. Fran and Shane were the best guides! They made the experience so enjoyable, going out of their way to help us get the best pics and kept us laughing the entire time. The views were insane! The zip-lines were epic. Could not recommend an activity more.

Such a wonderful experience :) had the best time and it was well worth it. Really liked that our adventure is also helping protect and restore some of Aotearoa’s beautiful native flora, fauna and now fungi! Julian and Rueben were fantastic guides and we can’t wait to come back with the rest of our family

Great experience through the forest with zip lines, swing bridges, drop line, ridge walk amongst the tree tops. Lots of variety with great mix of adventure and forest environmental info.

Flying through the forest on a misty morning was just incredible, Nina and Mitch were awesome guides, keeping us safe and giving us a few laughs along the way. The birds eye view of the forest is just incredible ... Redbull does not make you fly but Canopy Tours does!

We had an awesome team of guides, Nina and Shane. They were friendly, funny, and kind. They obviously loved their work. Shane knew a lot about conservation plans which was great to hear about how the country is trying to renew it's environment by getting rid of predators. The views were breathtaking, the ziplining was easy, and we had a race which was fun! They took fun pictures for us too!

Shane and Jacob were amazing guides for our mid-week tour of the Rotorua forest. The ultimate canopy tour was a great mix of hiking, information, and accessible zip lines. The guides were clearly experienced and set the entire group at ease - even 50m in the air! The views were incredible and this was definitely one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in NZ. Highly recommend.

If you are visiting Rotorua, then this tour is a must. The guides and the experience were amazing. My husband and I are 53 and 56 and have a moderate level of fitness and we managed the ultimate tour comfortably. When they say canopy tour, they mean high up in the canopy ziplining between huge platforms with incredible views of the forest. We highly reccommend this tour to everyone, which is very professionally organised and safety is paramount. Our guides knew their job, but also provided that Kiwi sense of humour to put at us ease. My only regret was not hiring a go pro to film more of the experience, however we were able to take our phone camera and canopy tours provides some free photos taken by the guides.
