We had never been to the Zion area before and this was a very cool way of getting to see it from an off the beaten path view. Our tour guide was Nicole and she was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. She took us on multiple stops where she would explain certain areas, wildlife, and answer any additional questions we may have had. Highly recommend if you are looking for a guided adventure and make sure you ask for Nicole!!

I looked at prior bookings/reviews for this experience saw the glowing reviews and was excited to share this experience with my friends. We originally booked the jeep tour but then had to be switched to a UTV tour because one of the Jeep vehicles was broken which was ok with us. The tour started out pretty standard but as the tour went on, the more we realized that the facts that Dave provided about the area were inaccurate and he had very little information on the nature and geology of the area as well. The entire time we were unsure of the accuracy of the information. He also added multiple political and racially inappropriate comments throughout the tour which was very uncomfortable at times. I will say that the drive was very pretty and the views were great which is pretty standard in the Zion area.

The tour was great. We saw beautiful views of the area and learned about the geology. Tour guide Dave was very knowledgeable and funny

We enjoyed the tour very much. It took us away from the crowds and allowed us to get up close to the beauty where we were able to take up close pictures of plants and rocks.

Operator contacted me a few days out from our scheduled tour to say they were having mechanical issues and offered to change me from a sunset tour to a morning tour. We went ahead and rescheduled to take the morning tour. Our tour guide (Nichole?) took good care of us and we had a great time. We like collecting rocks from places we visit as mementos and she was very helpful in finding some good souvenirs. The trip was filled with wonderful views and our guide was helped us capture some great pictures to remember the trip.

I don't get the 5 star reviews as this tour was weak compared to others we took at places like Arches. Driver was sweet but not knowledgeable, and the tour is actually outside the National Park. I would recommend trying a different company.

Dave is an amazing tour guide. He was friendly, fun, funny and was extremely knowledgeable about everything. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Zion.

This was an incredible day tour. Our guide, Dave, was the BEST. He was literally born to do this. We experienced absolute beauty and met some great new friends! Highly recommend!!!!!

Family of (4) took the tour and had our own jeep which is nice, but not necessary, just happened that way. Our guide, Nicole, was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable of the area both historically and geologically. We had a blast and would totally recommend it.

This afternoon my two friends and I took the jeep tour with Murphy as our driver and guide. When we booked the tour, the owners were not wrong when they said Murphy was a hoot. He had us in stitches all through our tour (think lots of dad jokes!). Murphy was fantastic in explaining the landscape, how Zion came to be and was incredibly knowledgeable on the various wildlife and habitats. We knew when we booked this jeep tour, we'd be rocking along the countryside. We didn't realize (DUH) how many rocks we'd be climbing! While very bumpy, we had a blast! On our way back, Murphy spotted a tarantula, stopped the jeep, picked up our new found friend and gave us a impromptu spider lesson. My friends and I all agree that we would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Murphy!!

Murphy was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. The tour showed little variety unfortunately, mostly rode around on the top of a Mesa. Not much wildlife to see, but Murphy’s conversation carried the trip.

A Road Trip to Nat'l Parks - Vehicles & Automobilia Observed Along the Way - May 2022 May 17th excursion: This experience was incredible. The only thing bumpy about the adventure was the awesome outback feat of traversing boulders. This is the way to see even more of Zion. Our tour leader and driver, Murphy, was exceptional. His vast knowledge of flora and fauna and pesky tourists was enlightening and entertaining. We thoroughly recommend this excursion. It is more than worth it!

My husband and I took the "Zion Jeep Tour Premium Package - Afternoon Tour" on Wednesday 18th May, 2022 and we were extremely disappointed. THIS TOUR DOES NOT GO INTO ZION NATIONAL PARK OR PROVIDE VIEWS SIMILAR TO THAT IN THE PARK. Instead we rode in the jeep on top of Gooseberry Mesa to a point that had nice views but not ones that were similar to that of Zion National Park. Nicole was a fantastic tour guide and did her job extremely well. She was knowledgeable about the plants in the area and was very engaging. She obviously cares about providing an enjoyable afternoon to her guests, the saving grace for us on this tour and the reason we are giving more than just one star. If you want to go on an off-road tour that drives on top of a mesa and learn about nature in that area then this is the tour for you. However, we did not understand from the tour overview this is what we would be doing (and the other couple on our tour expressed surprise when we were told we weren't going into the park too). We would rather have spent the day seeing Zion National Park on our own and in retrospect wish we had left once we learned we couldn't go into the park on the tour (which Nicole did tell us once we were in the jeep). We aren't familiar with the area and believed from the tour overview/name that even if we couldn't go into the actual park we would be able to "discover the rugged landscapes of Utah's Zion National Park" from outside of it. We were disappointed enough to complain to Viator and request a refund for this tour and were denied since you can now find a line stating that tours are not allowed in Zion National Park in the "additional info" and "what to expect" sections. We accept this, however, we still believe the overview and tour name are misleading and strongly imply there will be Zion National Park views and want to make sure that no one else makes the mistakes that we made.
