I am super grateful to Dali Tours to have made possible the Proposal I wanted. Besides the fact that Zakynthos has always been a Bucket list item for me, Dali Tours did everything possible to take us to Viewpoint (our cruise was 2 hours late and that drastically shortened our tour, rendering almost impossible our visit to viewpoint (which is the last stop). But Tasos our tour guide made time for it, he was informed about the proposal and wanted it to be as perfect as possible. He really helped me out with it, and even filmed it. Tasos is great cheers to him! My Fiancé and I will always remember him for his kindness and how fun he was. Thank you Dali Tours!

Not only do you get to see shipwreck beach from amazing points, but you also get to learn about some authentic Zakynthos spots. Our tour guide, George, was amazing!!!! He made sure we knew of authentic places and not the tourist traps. He was a great driver, great photographer and also great dancer (he taught us the traditional Greek dance and we danced in the middle of the taverna). We also got to go on a tour of a farm that produces wine and olive oil, and we’re given time to purchase from their amazing products. If you’re thinking about it, just book!

The boottrip to the shipwreck and the blue was awesome. We enjoyed the trip even if it was windy, cloudy. There were high waves and the sea was a bit rough. The last part it was raining. Michael, our driver from Peter Tours, was super kind and very very helpful.

Before anything it's important to say I did this tour in September 2022. same company same guide. George is an amazing guide and I only have the best references for him. That said this experience wasn't as good as last year. We paid €85 to have the early tour and they gave us the regular €65 with no refund offered. The excuse was that the water was too cold early in the morning. It's late April. The water is cold! Looks like they didn't have enough bookings. I did ask the day before when they informed of the time change if we would follow the early morning route (navagio beach first) and they said yes. It didn't happen like that. It followed the regular (€65) route. Navagio beach is closed for visitors. You can only take a picture from distance. No swimming or access to the beach. They didn't inform that to us untill the very last minute. As I saw news it might be closed I called in advance to make sure the tour would happen and they said it would and we would be able to visit. I don't think they were very honest. I was disappointed as we have had a great experience with Dali tours before.

The driver was very knowledgeable and nice especially after getting a bit sea sick. Took us to a wonderful spot for pictures, food and souvenirs. Definitely worth the money!

George was a fun guide, the Greek dancing was a bonus! Saw lots! Sadly it was Viator we had the problem with!

We had such a lovely day! We were lucky to have George showing us around everywhere. You can really feel the sincerity and genuine and GENEROUS attitudes of everyone here. Our favorite part was the boat rides to the blue caves!

We booked this tour for the small group and early morning option as we wanted to visit Shipwreck beach before the crowds arrived. We were collected at 7:30am from our hotel and picked up a few more guests before swapping vehicles and then picking up more guests from their restaurant in the main town. We are 20 people in our vehicle. The vehicles have aircon, but not well performing judging by the heat in the vans. It is then a long and winding road into the mountains. We stop at the viewing platform for shipwreck beach which we were told was the best way as it avoided the queues later on. The platform is a metal square slightly jutting out from the car park area and will only allow one person/group at a time for a photo so I can imagine this queue getting long when a coach arrives. We quickly stop for a toilet and drink break at a restaurant a five minute drive away before taking the shorter trip down to the harbour to join another Dali Tour mini bus and get on our boat. There are now 40 people in this small group. The boat thunders along showcasing lovely cliffs and beaches before we turn the corner and see what I can only describe as pure hell on shipwreck beach. The volume of people is not the fault of the tour company, but we didn't arrive on the beach till 11am, so not quite the early morning quiet trip I had been expecting. The boats with passengers make their way to the beach which you jump off at and then spend 45mins enjoying the views, if you can actually enjoy anything for the volume of people (see photos). The sand has a lot of stones so sliders or water shoes would be advisable. On a side note, no trainers are needed at all as there is no walking on this tour. We spent our time looking at the larger boats, carrying at least 300+ pulling up and dropping passengers off, along with people trying to get that instagram shot whilst dodging boat rudders. We are here at peak season in the summer holidays and I am sure there are times (like at 9:30am when we were looking down on the beach and only seeing a handful of boats anchored up) when it is totally peaceful and serene. Once back on the boat we visited another beach with cool rock towers, this was my favourite and way quieter than Shipwreck Beach. We visited some caves along the way and there was another snorkelling point for those with stronger lungs to get to it from where we were anchored. I didn't feel confident in that deep water and the distance to the cave so stayed on the boat. After this it was back to the harbour and on the slightly warm minibus up to the restaurant for lunch. The restaurant is there for the tourists as it is in the middle of no where. It was however ok, for the price. A little Greek dancing and another toilet tip and we were on our way to a little side street market stall where we could buy local goods and tourist tat. We visited the 2000 year old olive tree and bought some of the tasty oil, which we only can hope is genuinely from the tree, but at a few euros it isn't a deal breaker if it isn't. Thinking the tour was over, we stopped off at another beach, this time, it smells of sulphur and has a very steep incline down. No good for those with mobility issues. To be honest, the tour would be a little tricky getting the full benefit of the boat if you had mobility issues. This beach is known for it's sulphur smell and collagen sand. We enjoyed a little swim and the beach whilst small wasn't too busy. We were now finally on our way back to the hotel, some 9 hours after being collected. So whilst this wasn't may favourite tour ever, we enjoyed most of what we saw. But just be aware, early morning does not mean you will see an empty Shipwreck beach and small group of 40 is smaller than the 300+ we saw on one boat alone! If I could do it again, I would hire a boat ourselves to take us and not rely on a tour company to get us to Shipwreck beach.

1. Group was 17 ppl, not max 12. 2. Boat wasn’t small, as it had to fit us all. 3. Did not see any nice blue caves. 4. Did not get to swim in any blue cave. 5. Got harassed for wanting to have lunch somewhere else and almost aggressively put back in to the restaurant of the tours pick. (Me and two other solo travelers who wanted to eat at Anastasia. In the end we didn’t and the food at the Galaxy place was horrible). 6. Did not get a free map (it says somewhere you will get a personal map of the island). 7. Viator is NOT CHEAPEST as they state, others who booked the tour had to pay €65 instead of the €85 which I payed (I feel ripped off). 8. Tour doesn’t go according to website: lookout for shipwreck will be first so there will be Shadow all over, no sun so didn’t get to capture the beauty of the bright blue sea. 9. Boat ride was wild (not in a positive way), would NOT recommend for children or elders. Bottom line: 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. The whole tour left me with a bitter taste and a headache from the boatfumes and all the things above.

Driver was AN HOUR late picking us up from our hotel, this meant getting up at 6.15 whilst on holiday wasn’t really necessary, it also meant we missed breakfast. The driver didn’t introduce himself, nor tell us what the plan was not provide us with any water which was part of the deal. The fact we were late starting meant we were late to the ship wreck beach which was supposed to be early enough to avoid the crowds- it was absolutely jam packed with boats, literally thousands of tourists, the whole beach smelled of nothing but diesel fumes from the boats and we couldn’t wait to leave. The rest of the day was very laboured and felt like an eternity as the minivan aircon hardly worked at all. Hard to make any positive comments really.

A great trip in aircon minivan around the island stopping for photos at shipwreck and boat tour to the Blue Cave. We stopped at 2 beaches and many spots for the view. Our guide Sakis went out of his way to make this a great experience for everyone. I recommend this day out.

First our driver took us to the boat first Instead of the shipwreck view point (the main point of this excursion). As we got to the boat there was nowhere to store our things to keep them dry. The boat captain did not talk or explain anything, just went to a few caves very briefly on our way to shipwreck beach. Barely near a cave long enough to take a photo. Considering the main point of this tour was the shipwreck and blue caves, we thought we’d get more time to see the caves & swim, but that was not the case at all. We didn’t get to swim or snorkel at any of the caves. Once at the beach, already getting crowded, our boat captain stated he would pick us back up in an hour. 2 hours later he arrived, no way to contact him either. At this point the beach was very crowded. We loaded back onto the boat for a very rough ride back, we were soaked, along with our belongings. No effort to stop and see any caves on the way back now that the sun was out and would’ve been a better experience. Upon arrival back to the dock our driver told us we could go to the shipwreck view point or lunch, it was still early so everyone voted for the view point, the main point of the trip. After driving partially there we were told it was too crowded and we’d have to wait 2 hours before going further to the view point. Yet 5 ATV went on ahead of us. So our driver took us to the lunch location, Galaxy Taverna. After sitting down we saw a restaurant across the street had better food options and cheaper. We tried to leave galaxy taverna only to get accosted by the hostess that told us we “had to eat here”. Lunch was not included in the tour so I said no, if I’m paying for my lunch I’ll eat where I please. We walked to Anastasia taverna for a lovely meal that was significantly cheaper. While we were over there our driver came over and told us that the tour group eats together at Galaxy Taverna because they can vouch for the food. First of all no one from our group was eating together, they were all at separate tables. Secondly, this isn’t our first tour where the driver pushes certain tourist traps on the customer. We finished our meal at Anastasia’s taverna well before the group had even received their meals at Galaxy taverna, and we paid significantly less. Being bullied by not only the hostess of Galaxy Taverna but also our driver was incredibly off putting. After getting back in the car to co to use the tour we were informed we’d no longer be going to the shipwreck beach view point, THE WHOLE POINT OF THE TOUR! Instead we continued for a 10 minute stop at the oldest olive tree, then on to a very small crowded beach, Xigia Beach. Not even space to put our stuff down to get in and swim. We spent over an hour here.
