Had a great small group tour of sanctuary and then delicious lunch with a couple of wine tastings afterwards - Adrian was a great guide and made everything run smooth - animals were up close and personal and had added bonus of seeing some wild kangaroos in the fields after last tasting. Well done and highly recommended day outside of Melbourne.

This was an amazing trip. Rob our tour guide was really cool and friendly. We did a wine tasting as well as a sanctuary tour. The vineyards are breathtaking and the wines are amazing. French barrels in Australia!!!! A must do on your trip to Melbourne.

I am from the States (Houston to be exact) so wanted to make sure whatever I booked was worth it. This did not disappoint. Our tour guide Cam was awesome. We had a small group of 5, so there was space and great conversation all over. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind. We were also fortunate that just 3 of us checked out Healesville Sanctuary and we had TWO tour guides so that was awesome. Food was great, much better than expected, with several options. Wine tasting was also fun. Must do when visiting Melbourne. Thanks Rob/Cam.

We had the pleasure of going to Yarra Valley with Adrian. He was very friendly and we enjoyed the information on Australia and his personal stories. He really engaged the group. Some people went for a total day of wine tasting and the other half spent the morning at the wildlife sanctuary. We didn’t get a volunteer guide at the sanctuary, but that ended up okay. There were lots of children there because of the spring break. It didn’t seem overly crowded and was nice that many animals weren’t in cages and we were wondering how they (eg, kangaroos) knew not to cross the roped off areas. There were lots of Koalas which was great because they are so cute and you get a close up view. The lunch and wine tasting at Yering was fabulous. Then we went to a wine and cheese paring at Debortoli which was equally great. Initially we thought this tour might be on the expensive side, but given the lunch and the higher end wines we experienced it was well worth it.

What a great experience! I highly recommend booking this. I went to Australia on a solo birthday trip and wanted to do something with a larger group of people. This was exactly what I needed... The sanctuary was great! It was not super crowded and easy to follow and get around, made for a wonderful experience. Plus, the wineries, after coming from a zoo tour, were PERFECT. Cam, the tour coordinator for the day, was an absolute gem. He gave me so many recommendations for Melbourne and made me feel as though I was apart of the group even whilst on a solo trip. 10/10!!

Awesome Trip. First Class. Rob the guide is great. We enjoyed all three stops on the tour. Highly recommend. We took a scenic route and saw lots of wild kangaroos on the way back. Lunch was excellent

Our tour was exactly as it was described. Paul was a great tour guide. The wineries were lovely , lunch could improve a bit. I had some great food and wine pairing in Mendoza Argentina and Chilean wine country. It should have been at least 2-3 course , not one. And couple of glass of wine.

We had a an absolutely great day with Paul! He met us at the cruise port with a nicely appointed van and drove eight of us on an amazing Yarra Valley wine adventure. We did tastings at four cellars and had lunch and another tasting at the fifth cellar. Paul was cordial and knowledgeable about wine, the Yarra Valley, and Melbourne. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! We highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was friendly and very helpful. He picked us up on time. The animal sanctuary was a great place to see all the animals of Australia and we really enjoyed the private guide that took us on the tour. Both wineries we visited had great tastings and our lunch was yummy! I had my first taste of kangaroo!

Sanctuary was very interesting and a the koala encounter a lovely experience. Wine tasting very pleasant with excellent lunch.

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Cam, was excellent. The bus was comfortable (the ride to Yarra Valley takes about 1h15). The sanctuary was superb and really worth stopping at. The lunch at Yering Station was delicious and the wines were fantastic. We then went to De Bortoli where we enjoyed more wines and an awesome cheese tasting. Paul, the Vinetrekker tour director, is very good at communicating all details about the tour as well and makes sure you are all set to enjoy your day. I am taking great memories back home (and good wines too).

Had a perfect day with Paul and Vinetrekker. It was a wonderful balance of spending time at the Healesville Animal Sanctuary (which is just beautiful and has so much to see in a lovely natural setting) and wine tastings and delicious lunch. Paul does everything right in planning each stop giving plenty of time to enjoy. We never felt rushed. The wines were excellent with informative comments by each of the winery proprietors. I highly recommend this tour. You will really enjoy it.

Absolutely great day! Adrian was out guide and he was great! Loved healesville sanctuary. Great to do that first and then head off for lunch at a beautiful winery (views were amazing as was the food). Then two tastings (one with a cheese pairing) and back to our hotel. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful trip to the Yarra Valley! Our driver and guide, Adrian, was friendly, knowledgeable and a great host. We had plenty of time at the Healesville Sanctuary to marvel at the wonderful wildlife of Australia! The lunch at Yering Winery was superb and the wine tasting was fantastic! We capped off the tour with a wine and cheese pairing and tasting at the de Bortoli winery. We would highly recommend this lovely small group tour of the beautiful Yarra Valley area!

This was a fantastic experience! I went on this tour with my husband and we had a great time. Our tour guide was awesome and really knew his stuff. The animals were super cute!! The sanctuary was beautiful and very immersive. We had a great time at the winery as well. The wine and the food were very good! Loved the pairings!! Everything was such a great experience. We would highly recommend this tour and we would definitely do it again if we ever return to Melbourne.

Paul (not the owner the “other Paul”) was GREAT. The whole trip was an absolute delight. First time in Australia and of the three days wonderful days we have been here this was the crown jewel!
