We had a great trip to the Similan islands - the staff were very friendly and helpful. The boat was busy and packed full but the rest of the trip was beautiful and we experienced lots of snorkelling and exploring of some of the islands. The scenery is spectacular!

Fantastic tour! Everything is very good organized. Islands are really beautiful with clean and not very crowded beaches. Sea life is absolutely amazing.

Wow Andaman was managing the whole package extremely well. Mr. Chang was our guide and I want to send my warmest thanks to him. Similan is unbelievably beautiful and we even saw a sea turtle while snorkeling. Food offering was good and for sure enough (2 lunch boxes per person, breakfast and even a dinner). Highly recommended.

Good point - very good staff, good food and drinks, staff make sure no rubbish left Poor points - over 1.5 hours to get there - 1.5 hours to return - in a speed boat = purgatory average corals, Too many tourists snorkelling Saw a turtle being harassed by 50 tourists some trying to take ‘selfies’ with the turtle ! I gave up snorkelling as this was an awful experience

The trip was well organised. Meals were provided (3) during the 12 hours we were with them. Snorkeling was good at the 3 sites. Weather was perfect. Only down sides were that we were picked up so very early (615am) which turned out to be unnecessary (a full 1.5 hours before boat left) and also the boat was quite full of people and gear. The snorkeling sites had loads of people too but this is not the fault of the operator. Cannot fault wow Andaman. They were great and we enjoyed our day! Food, drinks, snacks including ice cream was delicious thank you!

We actually were able to book a private tour with our small group. Our local guide called the company and arranged for the smaller privat group. They picked us up at our hotel, we met at the boat at the port and from the minute we arrived to the time they dropped us off in the afternoon, it was amazing. The boat was clean and very fast. The crew friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Similan Islands. The beaches were powdery soft and the water so clear and so many colors of blue. On our way back to the port, one of the crew members saw a whale and the captain turned the boat to follow the whale for a bit so we could get a better look. Wow Andaman was fantastic.

Would not recommend. In addition to very crowded boat conditions, and unsanitary food service, one of the guides actually corralled a turtle! A poor example of stewardship when they have such a powerful opportunity to lead by example; caring for the ocean and all life in it. In one spot, the bay was full of plastic floating in the water. Did they educate and grab some of it for their trash? No. We did. Carrying handfuls back to the boat. Plus, there are no fish identification cards on the boat, no talk of what we might see or what was seen How come?Thank goodness the Similan Islands get an annual few months rest from vendors like this — and all humans. It still may not be enough to protect them. The almighty baht is driving this show.

Wow were really great well organised and well explained. My only issue was how rough the sea was and whether we should have gone out, given a dive boat capsized that day and divers were lost (RIP) the decision to go was questionable although it was without incident for us. We had a lovely day the team were fun and very attentive lots of unlimited drinks, sea sickness tablets, snacks and ice cream all free onboard and on the dock before leaving and on return. The lunchbox they provided was good quality food and as a vegan one of the best lunches I've been provided with so a massive thankyou for that. The islands themselves are beautiful and well worth a visit, they really do look like all the insta posts. The snorkelling was good really clear and a good verity of fish and marine life to see. As an experienced diver I would have liked a little more chance to explore but I understand the restrictions as they need to think of safety. the Guides were brilliant giving us some autonomy with the trip, offering us options to do different things.

The best snorkeling trip I have ever been on. Tan our guide was lovely and there were lots of crew to help the whole way. The trip was so well organised, lots of food, the boat wasn’t crowded and the fish and sea life we saw was amazing.

The most amazing day ever, from start to finish. Very organised, Yaya our tour guide was just brilliant, as were the rest of the crew. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to ensure everyone had the best time!

We have been to many of the Thai islands before with lots of different operators and today’s trip was definitely the best one we have been on. We were picked up on the pier outside of La Flora hotel (we stayed at Ramada) which was really great, no long car trips and we didn’t depart until 8:30am and returned back to the pier right outside our hotel at 4:30pm. Tan & the crew were incredible, very organised and just lovely people. We couldn’t fault them and the operation. We felt safe and well informed, always knew where we were going etc. Lots of drinks provided, they provided ice cream which was a nice touch & snacks throughout the day. Lunch was a bento box style which was fine, looking at all the other operators it’s the same as what everyone had. They also provided fried chicken and Thai desserts on land when we returned which was a nice touch that we weren’t expecting. The Similan Islands themselves are stunning! So picturesque, clean & clear waters and white sandy beaches. Highly recommended! We are considering Surin Islands with this company also.

We were a bit dubious about booking one of these trips as some of the reviews mentioned about too many people etc. but we so wanted to visit the Similan Islands that we decided it was worth it. All in all we were pleasantly surprised with the whole trip. It was well managed and all the staff were friendly and helpful, including Tan (baby shark) who was funny and a sweetheart. Obviously when you go to these islands there are many boats coming and going with lots of tourists but there is no getting away from that and if you want to visit, then they just have to put up with it. We had some great snorkelling, swimming and lying on the beaches. The boat ride there and back was fine. Nobody was sick. There was plenty of drinks and ice cream and biscuits. Lunch I’ll be honest I didn’t eat. Only the banana and orange. Rice, chicken, fish, prawns and squid which was neither cold nor hot and had obviously been on the boat for a few hours didn’t inspire me with confidence so not for me. Other people were tucking in. The food afterwards looked very good although we had already made plans. So all in all I would definitely recommend it!

Well organised trip and we only had a small number of people on the boat which made it even more enjoyable. There were plenty of drinks on the boat and coconut ice cream which was a nice treat. The staff were all friendly and polite

The tour guide was great, very funny. The staff were lovely and the whole day went super smoothly! Lunch was good and the tour guide had lots of knowledge about the islands and reefs. Great driver and a well planned day!

Having read the reviews of various companies before booking with WOW I was so pleased we decided to go with them. The tour was extremely professional and well organised, friendly and prompt replies to my booking email and pick up on time from our hotel. The Similan Islands are breathtakingly beautiful with beaches you can hardly believe are real! The speedboat trip passed quickly with plentiful drinks and snacks passed around by the crew. The equipment provided was good quality and the crew made sure to help everyone fit their snorkels and masks. The snorkeling itself was out of this world and we had plenty of time at each stop. So many varied types of beautiful fish, you won't believe your eyes! We could only go to 2 sites rather than the planned 3 due to choppy sea conditions but we were given extra time at the others so it was fine. The packed lunch was a bento style lunchbox and we enjoyed it - no shortage of drinks and water, plus delicious coconut ice cream. Thanks to our energetic and friendly crew on boat 6 especially our guide Arty who did an excellent job of keeping everyone happy and organised. Thank you! Bethan and Paul, England

Staff were very friendly and mostly helpful. Food was not good at all, when you arrive at port after early wake up, breakfast is a boiled egg. Lunch was fish, prawns and chicken that was not stored to an adequate standard, it was stored in a storage box (not cooled esky or fridge) for the entire day on the boat. When you get back to the port around 5pm you are served with dinner which is either rice or noodles with fried chicken. The tour itself, the amount of stops and location was nice. We had approximately 50 people including crew and the boats are definitely not big enough for that many people, seating availability is very poor. Crew sitting on floor. The noise in the back from The engines is deafening. If we had known how cramped the experience was going to be and the quality of food we would have booked with another provider, especially considering the price (4200B). No access for elderly or disabled. Definitely do research before booking tours.

The beaches were stunning, white sand and turquoise blue water, the snorkeling was great too. Arty and the team was friendly and helpful! However, the whole experience was ruined by the overcrowded boat - there was around 40 people crammed on our boat, no space to put your bags or to walk around. The staff were walking around the boat serving food and drinks which was great however, due to the limited space, they were literally stepping on our toes. Lunch and dinner was probably the worst food I had during my Thailand trip (and I’ve had some amazing food here!). Overall review, make sure to visit Similan Islands when in Thailand but I would recommend a different service provider or a private tour. Personally I think they should limit the amount of yours going to the islands, it will be ruined in no time.

Similan is freaking beautiful. However the tour boat was so over crowded. Like sardines in a tin can. No space to store belongings or try keep your towel dry. Constantly getting bumped. Brekky and lunch were awful. The best thing was the coconut ice cream. Crew were nice enough. I wouldn't recommend this tour to someone and would say get on a boat with less people (20max) and a better seating arrangement

We wanted a snorkelling trip and heard that the Similan islands were beautiful and after reading trip advisor reviews knew this was for us. The day from start to finish was very well organised, from timely pick up at hotel, breakfast on arrival and introduction to your guide Arty and his team, all of who played an important part in the trip. Arty knew what to see and where to go which maybe slightly different each time due to tide and weather conditions. We had 3 beautiful snorkel stops with the guides in the water at times painting out the fish. On the boat there was endless supplies of refreshments, ice creams and treats. With 2 beautiful island stops , one of those for lunch there is nothing negative about this excursion. We were all worn out and most of us slept the return journey where we were greeted with a light tea and souvenir photo to purchase. A fantastic trip and loved every minute, would highly recommend.
