We really enjoyed our day trip with Hannah. She was a wealth of information and made the visit wonderful. We especially enjoyed the boys choir and local farmers market.

Elvira was fun and very informative! Our day went very smoothly and was stress free. I highly recommend doing this day trip with Elvira. She knows all the ends and outs for public transportation ( which is a little confusing and very time specific). She is very personable and caters the info provided to your groups interests!

From the moment we came into contact with Elvira in planning our day trip to Montserat a d the Graus winery she was incredible. The detail and timely communication in planning to just a fantastic day with her. She was a joy, so helpful in every regard. It was our first trip to Spain and our first time using With Locals. Unique place to visit. We were amazed! Our guide Octavio made our day the most fun ever! We made a good friend in Spain. If we come back again Octavio will be our first person we want to spend time with!

Ilona was our guide for two tremendous station in Barcelona. She has vast knowledge of its history, is very personable, and will modify the excursions to fit your desires.

The train, the vehicular and the cable car were great experiences. Alan our guide went the extra mile. It would have been wonderful to be able to walk and appreciate the full Stations of the Cross had time permitted. A very long walk on the mountain side so peaceful. Thanks for a great day Alan. Had a lovely personal walking tour with Elvira. She was delightful! (Now, excuse my spelling.) Went to El Drac de Sant for pinchos, Jordi, the market, Mendizabal for vermouth and pintxos of fuet bonuelos (codfish cake) chistorra sausage, pimento del piquillo with codfish, catalan came and Cava. 2nd stop at Mendizabal had escalivada (roasted veggies including peppers, onion, eggplant covered with aioli on top of coca (bread) with garlic sauce and Vermouth. 3rd place LaBodega had Albondigas—Spanish meatballs, Russian salad, bomba (meatball rolled in mashed potatoes, with white wine. Then a takeaway Horchata of Tiger nuts: Chauffa. Yes, we could eat no more when we were done! This was during the later stages of Covid, and we needed a Covid test to get on our ship, so Elvira was so nice to set an appointment nearby to get Covid test at a low price. Love Elvira, and Withlocals!

Great day trip if you're in Barcelona for more than a few days. Absolutely breathtaking views from Monserrat. Make sure your guide takes you on the short hike (moderate difficulty) to get to the cross where you can see the Pyreenes and the border with France - absolutely gorgeous and serene. Sebastian was a great guide who knew a lot about the history of the monestary. You could also tell he's done the tour many times as he timed everything perfectly (you need to take a cable car up/down from the monestary and then a train in/out of Barcelona). He also gave us the advice that Saturday was a great day to visit as Sundays are incredibly crowded as many from the region travel for the Sunday church services.

I had today the best ever tour with Luis. He took us to Montserrat by car. My friend and I spend the best day in Spain. We always remember Luis

There was no transportation at the address they gave. We could not take the trip. It was really bad communication and arrangement. We lost the whole day and a great experience of sightseeing because of your vendors poor communication.

Great guide with excellent knowledge of the city. We went to Monserrat as well Which was a great side trip. The Gaudi houses and the Sagrada Familia walking tour was great and informative. We bought tickets online to go into the cathedral since her tour did not include the interior of the church. This allowed us to use the audio tour at our leisure...perfect ending for a super tour.

Laura was amazing! She shared so much information on Montserrat but also on Catalonian culture. We had plenty of opportunity to explore and she shaped the tour based on our interests. This was the best way to experience Montserrat in my opinion.

Not only was Lusi super informative but she was a ball of positive energy. We had a cold and windy day to hike in Montaeratt and she made it feel warm and calm. By the end of the day we connected in such a real way that we were sharing personal stories and places to eat....

Natalia was brilliant! Highly engaged and easy to talk to about a range of topics. She was incredibly well informed about the history of Catalonia, Barcelona and Montserrat; able to share interesting insights and titbits of historical significance as well as local myths and legends. It was clear she has a great passion for what she does and the local area, it's history, people and culture. Natalia made sure we got the most out of our day in every sense. I can not recommend her highly enough.

Samira is great! It was our first day in Barcelona, so we hadn't figured anything out yet. Samira took care of everything, our train tickets and gondola tickets, she took us to all the exciting places in Montserrat, and pointed us in the right direction for food afterwards. We highly recommend Samira and the Montserrat tour!

We had a great outing to Montserrat with Natalia. She was the bright spot in an otherwise cold, windy and rainy day. She skillfully guided us to and through our destination and timed everything perfectly. She was engaging to talk to and shared great information with us not just about Montserrat but also about beautiful Barcelona. Her passion and love for the city was evident throughout our time together. We would not hesitate to select Natalia again to guide our personal tour. Thanks for making our dreary day perfect!

Our trip to Montserrat with Sebastian as our guide was perfect. We probably should have booked a longer day though since Sebastian had so much to explain and take us to see. He is knowlegeable and provided us with great details and history which was very interesting.

I have no complaints about the tour! It was perfect! The tour was done in an organised manner. Natalia was informative, patient and engaging. I am very glad I did this tour!

Our magical day at Montserrat was just that! Not only was Sebastian was a great tour guide but he's very knowledgeable about its history and the history of Spain in general. We learned a lot about this incredible monestary as we walked and climbed through the tour. The stop for cheese was also great. We couldn't have chosen a better tour guide and the weather for cable car views & hike was incredible! Thanks Sebastian!
