There were two time options and we selected 9am. We arrived at 9am and the guy at the desk thought I was just crazy early for the 6pm tour. Not their fault, seems to be a glitch with the app. We went back at 6 and the tour is great. I don’t think you need to book through an agency, just get a cab and make a reservation direct. We had a lovely driver, but he had to wait for us and we were having so much fun we overstayed our tour time, which I feel terrible about in hindsight.

A very nice experience, the guide was very good and had very good knowledge of the English language. The winery was very beautiful, it had a view where the sunset looked amazing every wine was local and you could even try Raki which was very good😄 I definitely recommend you to go to have a good time and to discover more about the history of the winery!!

I had the best time with 1001 Alabanian Adventures. They were so warm and friendly, also our tour guide Orest was amazing. I will definitely try to visit again and I will recommend my friends and family for this amazing experience. So happy, lots of love 😊

This was one of our best tours in Albania. A 30 min scenic transfer from Berat with an awesome driver. One of the most picturesque vineyard I've been to (we went at 6pm which was cooler for the tour and to catch the sunset). It is Family owned with a really interesting history, shared by the family members themselves. You taste all the wines and Raki with a friendly group. Would happily go back and highly recommend..you can have dinner there too!

Very nice location and beautiful setting of the table under wine plants. Guide spoke good English. We enjoyed the wine and the free appetizers just expected a bit more service during the tasting (we tried one wine, then waited quite long with empty glasses and the same for the other two glasses). Would have preferred to do the tasting quicker and then have the chance to e.g. buy a bottle ourselves. Dinner was not included but was nice. We had a good time since the group was fun.

Everything actually,from the communication with Albanian adventures,the scenic trip to the village,roshnik,the amaible guides(mistrec Reno who made us laugh a lot)to the beautiful well kept winery and restaurant. I would definitely recommend!

Such a beautiful place to visit. Our tour guide, Genti was informative and welcoming. We had an opportunity to stop and take pictures at a viewpoint on the way and we were shown the vineyard on arrival. Visiting at sunset there were amazing views across the mountains. We had a great time trying the wines and snacks and met some lovely people there too. You definitely don’t leave feeling that you haven’t had enough wine!

Had a wonderful time visiting this winery with this fantastic tour group! Our guide, Gentjan, spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful and informative. Highly recommend this day trip from Berat. In addition to the wines, the drive itself was stunning!

We had a very fun trip to Alpeta winery, it's a family business, which produce good local wines and excellent raki. An absolute must visit if you want to explore a new winemaking region and spend a beautiful evening surrounded by an impressive scenery of hills, mountains and vineyards, with a very very friendly and hospitable hosts (Petrit, one of the founders, made a wonderful tour and tasting session for us). We had an amazing time in the company of our guide Julia and driver Artan, who delivered us (drunk and happy) from Berat to Alpeta and back, helped to discover the local winemaking and answered all questions about place/region!

Wine is great! Raki is great! Petrit is the most welcoming owner you will find around. The service is exellent and the taste of the food will last very long in your memory.

The tour was amazing! We had an excursion through wine yards and winery. We heard many stories about wine making and traditional rituals when drinking rakija. The guides and the family are really knowledgeable and acts as if you were a part of family. They are really hospitable and overall pleasant people to be around to. The wine tasting was amazing too! So much wine and rakija available and plenty of appetizers which are locally produced. Would definitely recommend this tour. Although it might seem weird to go on a tour with only you and your travel buddy, it was not awkward at all! Thank you for the amazing time! Kristiana and Edmunds

Outstanding evening trip to Alpeta Agroturizem with Genti. He was exceptionally helpful, kind, and informative. We highly recommend this tour and tour company to anybody visiting Berat.

Our guide from 1001 Albanian Adventures was really excellent - first in helping us select a relevant tour (Alpeta vineyard). He was also really flexible with us with with our timing, helped us add a dinner at the last minute and shared so much about his own family and culture. The vineyard is absolutely stunning. We had wine of the trip there, the winemaker was insightful and we ended up having a beautiful dinner with his family in the local village. On the next trip I'd stay at Alpeta in their clean and comfortable hostel for a few nights, rather than Berat. Scenic, delicious and relaxing.

My friend and I had a really good moment at Roshnik thanks to that tour organized by 1001 Albanian Adventures !! The Apleta winery is really well located with such beautiful suroundings ! Explanations and tastings of wine, cheese, olives, fruits, etc. were really interesting and it was also the oportunity to learn more about life in Albanian little towns :) We chose the option to have dinner there and the food was really excellent ! To finish we had fun discovering Albanian tradition with "some" raki ! Conclusion : just go, we super recommend it !!!

A very interesting and very beautiful tour with tasting of good and unique local wine, olives, cheese, raki.. The guide spoke good english and he as well as the owner of the wine yard was very kind and informative. The village, the surroundings and the wine yard are very nice. We had a great and cosy afternoon. Can recommend it.

What an amazing and breathtaking experience in the Roshnik Village. Superb guide, personal touch (with prepped birthday cake), amazing view. 1001 Albanian Adventures and the Alpeta Winery made us feel so heartwarmingly welcome in Berat.

What a great tour this was. We turned up and our tour guide was ready to take is to the vineyard. A half an hour drive into the mountainous surrounding region; then a few hours wondering around the grounds, followed by drinking plenty of wine and too much Raki. In comparison to other wine tastings; this was so much fun. The owner of the vineyard was a warm and kind man, he made us feel very welcome. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time, in this beautiful setting.

Wir sind immer noch absolut überwältigt von diesem Abend! Die Tour fand trotzdem statt obwohl wir nur zu zweit waren. Die beiden Guides haben perfekt englisch gesprochen und uns vieles erklärt. Das Weingut war großartig und sehr familiär (keine Massenabfertigung!!), der Wein als auch der Raki sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt wohl auch 8 Gästezimmer (hätten wir das früher gewusst wären wir dort geblieben ;-) - aber das hat uns einiges an Kopfschmerzen erspart ;D) Vielen Dank an unsere wundervollen Guides Erilda und ihr Ehemann:) Diese Tour und das Touristikunternehmen ist absolut zu empfehlen! Abbiamo fatto due visite guidate con l'agenzia, uno al canyon di Osumi con la famiglia e uno di degustazione con la mia moglie. Servizio al top, ci è piaciuto ritornare in Albania e avere un servizio dell' genere.
