I booked the wine bar tour as part of a hen weekend for my friend. There were 9 of us. And each one of us had a fantastic time, even those who were not wine lovers, ended up finishing the tour with a new found interest in wine. It was informative but also great fun. Our host Jonathan, was great, helping out with local knowledge as well as wine. Thank you Bordeaux Wine Trails for kick starting a wonderful weekend.

Wonderful wine tasting experience. The venue was perfect. The wines were delicious. I learned lots about the wine making regions around Bordeaux and our sommelier, Jon was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bordeaux

Awesome wine bar tour in the center of town. We were a mixed group of English and French speakers and John was great at switching between the two languages to include everyone. Good fun, good food and good wines, highly recommend !

The instructor was great and we learned a lot about the Bordeaux wines and the different regions and were able to taste and comment on four different wines from Bordeaux.

Our guide Jon was super insightful and interesting to learn from. He encouraged and answered all our questions. The class was fit for a range of experiences and we enjoyed the wine and cheese pairing!

Jonathan was a brilliant host - so knowledgeable and made everyone feel really welcome! We loved that we also got to learn about a bit of French culture as well as wine. Highly recommend this class!

Very educational. I feel like a bit of a wine expert. Wine & cheese were great worth 50 euro each. Our instructor Nathan was great. He represented France well.

We went on a private tour, with Jonathan, who was charming and knowledgable. We were taken to a couple of great estates, and to a couple of wine shops in town. The entire half-day tour was spot-on: no hard-sell, judicious, entertaining and engaging. Can’t speak highly enough about this as a great day out as a couple or in a larger group.

The private tour was a birthday present for one of us. We were accompanied by the charming Jonathan around a couple of lovely estates, and some wine buying in the town. Jon was witty, interesting and engaging; he understands hospitality and how to read a room. We would absolutely repeat this (as a full or half-day) with friends, in a larger group, or by ourselves. Can't speak highly enough of how professionally managed and well thought out the tour was.

Jon was a really knowledgeable and engaging sommelier. He guided us through the different wines of Bordeaux and the surrounding area explaining their differences, climate, flavors etc. The wine tasting was good and the experience was fun! Highly recommended

The masterclass - a gift for my sister on our weekend trip to Bordeaux - was excellent! After a very warm welcome, everything was ready for us to introduce us to the wonderful world of Bordeaux wines. The very passionate Jonathan started by telling us about the history that dates back 2000 years, he talked about the regions, the importance of the ocean, the people, the land, the microclimate, the rules that apply in France for making wine. Every question we had was answered. And above all, we were allowed to taste and learn. We now look at wine differently, smell and taste wine the way Jonathan taught us via the 5 S's. A great lesson from Jonathan: find out for yourself what you taste and what wine you like. Next time, we'll tour the Bordeaux region with Bordeaux Wine Trails!

We had a great time and learned about wine and Bourdeoux Style at the same time with Jan. Totally recomended!

This workshop is very interesting and funny ! I recommend it. Defenitely a MUST when you arrive in Bordeaux, get the basics of wine tasting and continue with one of the tours after this workshop !
