Fun and informative. Hondo was a great guide. Learned about some of the history of Golden and Coors. The pubs we visited offered us an ample tasting of beer. Full 10oz if we wanted or 2 5 ounce picks. I would have liked some pretzels or maybe other munchies to go along with our beers.

Starts with drinks at charming Goosetown Station and moves through parks, bars, and old historic areas throughout downtown Golden all while learning about the history of its various places and people.

Chris with Golden History Tours was exceptional! I surprised my boyfriend who isn't from Colorado with the Wild West Pub Crawl back in the Summer. Even being from Colorado, I found the tour enlightening and interesting. Chris is a wonderful storyteller who you can tell is passionate about what he does. It was a gorgeous day in Golden and the breweries we visited were awesome as well - I had excellent beers at each stop. I can't recommend this enough to folks visiting from out of state or even folks living here who are interested in learning more about the history of Golden while in good company.
