I had a lot of fun in the catacombs, the guides are very nice and experienced! I strongly recommend this tour, amazing experience.

This is one of the most excited tours that you should do when you visit Odessa. I really enjoyed the trip with Igor, he is professional, good English speaker and welcoming any question. He is knowledgable and expert in this field, so I highly recommend taking the tour with him as he will explain to you everything with good stories as well :). You will have the chance at the end to navigate on your own as a practice to test your knowledge on how to utilize the maps in underground areas.

It was an amazing experience! They first explain the rich history of the catacombs while taking you through this scary but fascinating underground labyrinth. After that you are sent on a treasure hunt, all by yourselves. So cool

Egor led our party of four through the catacombs. It was so interesting. He made sure we had on proper jackets which might get dirty. We each had hats to cover our hair and either a headlight or flashlight. (I would suggest guests take along their own raincoat - not for rain but comfortable for the cave temperatures and easy to wash later, as well as a stocking cap of your own.). After about an hour and a half of the twists and turns of the catacombs, our group paired up in twos and was each given a map with five marked destinations to find before returning back to our meeting spot. So much fun but takes some perseverance to track and not get lost. Our entire parry made it out! Don’t miss this when you are in Bucharest.

Very nice enjoybale tour with experienced guide who told us about history of the tombs. There wansr much poeple our group consisted only from 2 poeple but tour happend anyway.

We had an incredible tour with an amazing guide of Igor! We have been underground for 2 hours, learned about the history of mining, partizans of WW II and local's usage of the tunnels & contemporary explorations, rescue actions. Our guide is a passionate about artificially created caves and had a great expertise. We also had possibility to try out our orientation skills in this authentic labyrinth with a small game. We are delighted! As we walked through the endless labyrinth of the catacombs our guide Igor shared fascinating war stories as well as stories from his personal experience being part of the many rescue missions all over the country. Huge factor for me was the level of comfort I felt during this excursion. Igor made us feel safe and at ease at all times. At the very end of our journey we were asked to apply our fresh knowledge and try to exit the catacombs on our own using the signs on the walls. We did not succeed, it’s too complicated but we had so much fun trying!

This was a great tour - a very different experience. Igor was very knowledgeable and took us through the geological and social/political history of the catacombs. The map reading challenge was amusing and gave us a sense of the complexity of the tunnels

I had a great time ich Igor. Initially I been dead scared of the structures collapsing but it turned out he was a knowledgeable and super informed. I can really recommend it. It is off the usual tourist stuff :-)
