The trip took us to see many amazing beaches and cliffs. We didn’t realize how different the cliffs could be along the coast. Even though we only stopped in one village we got to see a number of them and it as just the right mix. The views of the ocean, waves and countryside were spectacular. Those who never get away from the south coast never get to see a very different Algarve. António was a great guide. His commentary, a mix of historical and personal information really made the day and his restaurant recommendations in Lagos were very helpful for us trying to choose where to eat from the uncountable number of restaurants in the city.

Stunning scenery and we so appreciated getting to experience it from seemingly the best spots, a few we would never have known to go to on our own. And not having to drive ourselves made the day more relaxing and fun. The west coast is definitely wild and wonderful, close to nature, mostly undeveloped -- that's heaven to us! And Antonio was amazing. So knowledgeable. We asked a lot of questions and I don't think there was anything he didn't know about. So helpful, interesting, flexible, and easy-going. We loved our time with him and are already thinking about a second tour later with other friends. Thank you, Antonio!

We had a wonderful day with Antonio on the Spectacular West Coast of the Algarve area. We awoke to fog over Praia da Dona Ana, so were concerned about how much we would see, but Antonio had checked out the situation and set the plan for the day to start at the northern most points, where the skies were clear. We visited the fort in Aljezur and stopped in the local market (fish and local specialty food items), where we picked up some fresh oranges. We made stops at several beaches along the coast, all with spectacular, breathtaking views. Slow time of the year, so it was just us and we pretty well had the views to ourselves. A nice lunch and a Sagres beer at a cafe with a view of the Atlantic, could not ask for better. In the afternoon we visited Sagres to see the Fortress and more great views. There is a very nice little museum there, but the church was not open to see. We finished at Cape Vincent, the lighthouse at the furthest SE point, more views. Unfortunately, there was work going on at the lighthouse so we could not get past the gate, can happen in the off season. Antonio picked us up and dropped us off at our apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Antonio, he is very enthusiastic about sharing his love of this area of the Algarve and was open to discussing any topic that we raised during the day. We highly recommend this tour if staying in the Algarve (Lagos), there is so much more incredible scenery to see than just the beaches on the south coast. Thanks Antonio!

This is a must do ! The most beautiful gems Portugal has to offer. Stunning views, seriously breathtaking Antonio was so kind and thoughtful and very knowledgeable! You stop at a cute place for lunch , food is delicious ! 10/10 would recommend this trip to everyone!

We had a great day with Antonio as our guide. He moved at the perfect pace. We never felt rushed yet when we were done seeing each site he took the cue and we moved along. We went to places it seems others did not go - the value of having a local guide us. We saw feral cats, goats, and wild boar. Learned a bit of history around navigation, cork, etc. We would not hesitate to tour with Antonio, and in fact we wish we had time to go other places with him.

We thoroughly enjoyed all 10 hours of this amazing tour. If you get Antonio as your guide, consider yourself very lucky. One of the very best, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and makes sure your needs are met. He found and stopped at a grove of cork trees just to make sure we could capture these on camera. The tour is super scenic - wonderful wild unspoilt beaches , cliff side views, old forts and castles. Go and you will not regret it.

We spent a very enjoyable and meaningful day with the group and Antonio. We visited beautiful places that we would not have been able to get to otherwise. We definitely recommend the program.

This is a fabulous full day tour of the more remote parts of the Algarve west coast that few visitors see. We were met by Antonio at our hotel in Lagos at 9am and then collected a further 6 people before heading west to Sagres fortress. The minibus holds 8 passengers and is very comfortable with excellent A/C. We arrived at about 9:30 before it became busy. It was a very hot day with little wind (unusual!). We had about 45 minutes to visit the museum and wander around. Antonio was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the history and the Algarve area. From there we visited Cape St Vincent with its lighthouse - the most westerly point of mainland Europe. A little busier here but still before most of the crowds. Then it was off northwards up the west coast visiting a whole series of clifftop viewpoints and beautiful sandy beaches. Some of these were very remote and not visited by tourists. Again Antonio was a mine of information about each area we visited. After the last stop we headed back to Lagos on the main road, reaching our hotel about 4:30pm. The whole day was a wonderful experience and our guide Antonio, a true gentleman! If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary, away from the main resorts then you should not hesitate to book this tour. You won’t be disappointed. I suggest booking direct on Antonio’s website for better value and you get 10% discount. One piece of advice is to take note of the weather and dress appropriately. For us it was hot and still but it can be cooler and very windy.

Amazing trip to Algarve's most awesome beaches. A must-do trip if you want to see the most amazing cliffs and beaches from Sagres to Aljezur. You get to see places that are quite difficult to reach if not guided by a local expert like Antonio, who was a great guide! He provided us with lots of information during the trip, from historical aspects to cultural ones. I would definitely recommend the trip!

This was an excellent tour. We went to numerous places that you certainly would not attend on a large bus tour. The ONLY negative was that sitting in the back of the van, it was at times difficult to hear the tour guide --- I am somewhat hard of hearing, and the headset and microphone seemed to pick up the driver's voice somewhat intermittently, so it was not always helpful. Overall though a very interesting day. Very informative and enjoyable.

Antonio was a excellent guide. I am a widow travelling on my own and the day of my tour I was happy to find out there were 2 couples joining the tour that were also from Canada. A fun day and Antonio let us walk the many beautiful beaches we visited and we all enjoyed lunch at a restaurant on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Then moved on to more amazing places to see. It was a wonderful tour. Thanks Antonio!

Amazing tour!! Would highly recommend for anyone with just a few days in Lagos. Gabriel was a phenomenal tour guide. He arrived on time to pick me up from my hotel ( early, actually ) , was very energetic and informative about the locations we visited and their history, and even offered to take pics for me since I was travelling solo! The spots we stopped at were stunning. Pics don’t do it justice. We didn’t have the best weather, it was a bit of a gloomy day but that almost made it better. We had a beautiful lunch by the cliff side and overall it was a fantastic day. Would highly recommend.
