We had a great trip to the mines. Our driver Olaf was a great host and went above and beyond to make our trip very enjoyable. Giving us information of restaurants, bars, other sights to see whilst in Krakow . Will definitely recommend this company.

Our trip driver/coordinator Pawel was great! He explained everything in detail about how the trip would go and we felt taken good care of!

Pawel took us to the Salt Mine - he picked us up on time from the hotel and took us to the Salt Mine (which was excellent also!) and got us into the right queue - he was waiting for us when we finished and took us back anywhere within Krakow - not necessarily back to our hotel (we wanted to go the main square) which was nice. He was very approachable and friendly and knew his stuff! I would highly recommend.

It was super easy and well organized trip. Olaf was excellent chaperone. He was flexible, very communicative and offering extra tips and advices. Tour requires some physical stamina but the salt mine is unique in so many way. Also, the town of Wieliczka is very picturesque.

This was a late booking due to my trip to Auschwitz being postponed by another company which I understand is quite common.I found a small booking agency by the name of 'Thousand Miles' local to my hotel.Nothing was too much trouble and I was fixed up with the Salt mines tour in a couple of hours.We had our own driver Pawel who could not do enough for us although not our guide for the Salt mines his knowledge and guidance including supplying me with a list of local restaurants local to my hotel was invaluable information.If anyone is looking to book the Salt mines or indeed any other tour look up Thousand Miles

Both my wife and I were somewhat worried in advance of the tour as we had read how many steps we would have to go down. We needn’t have worried! The steps were wide, even and not too deep, so we managed them without any problems. The tour itself was excellent, the salt mine very interesting and our guide very good. The three hours went really quickly.

Our guide/driver Olaf was wonderful. He collected us on time from our accommodation and pointed out places of interest on our way to the salt mines. The Salt Mines were fascinating and impressive and the steps down were very manageable. On our way back home Olaf pointed out Schindlers house and took us to the remains of the German concentration camp. A wonderful day. Thanks Olaf for all your efforts and communication prior to our trip.

Excellent tour of the Salt Mines, would highly recommend this tour if your visiting Krakow. We were picked up from our hotel, taken to the salt mines and then taken back to our hotel. Driver Maciek was a lovely, friendly guy. We were dropped off after the tour and my partner realised he dropped his phone, cash and credit cards in the mini bus. I rang Maciek who kindly checked the back of his vehicle and confirmed the phone , cash & cards was there. Maciek agreed to drop it back to our hotel for us, can't thank him enough. 5 star service!

Fantastic tour guide who was communicative and helpful. Gave us extra information on the away to the tour at the Salt Mine as we were driving past notable landmarks and areas. Could not recommended enough as it made the whole experience more enjoyable! Clean car. Maciek was amazing!

We booked the night before, in person, at the agency, where staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Pick up was prompt and we were kept well informed of times. The tour itself was really interesting. The English speaking guide was informative and humorous but spoke very fast and it was sometimes difficult to follow what he was saying, especially when you were at the back of the group (of around 30). Be prepared to walk a fair bit. The tour guide is not specific to the company. They buy the tickets at the mine - the same as you could do yourself if you want to make your own way there.

This was a very well organised trip provided by Thousand Miles... Margaret contacted us the say before with pick up details and arrived in plenty of time the following morning... Margaret made the journey to the Salt Mines very interesting and she was very pleasant and friendly... All arrangements for the tour were made for us by Margaret so there were no difficulties when we arrived.... The tour of the mine was very informative and lasted approximately 2 hours. There is quite a lot of walking, so if you have any mobility issues, you may want to seek advice before booking... Overall, this was a very good trip, brought to us by Thousand Miles Tour Company, who I would strongly recommend...

I love the experience! My driver Margaret was very lovely and funny. Her English is very good and she even sent me restaurant recommendations for my trip. The mine itself was gigantic, it's impressive to see they built a whole underground city. A must-see in Krakow!

Didn't expect it to be as good and interesting as it was. Extraordinary depths the miners worked at and amazing size of the current mine - of which we only saw one third!

Salt Mine was so worth the trip. Stunning tour and very well organised. The hotel arranged our trip and we were collected by Tomek who was a fabulous driver. He was great at telling us so much about Krakow on our drive over and his service was first class

I would like to say a massive thank you to thousand miles as this was by far one of the best transfer to and from any trip I've ever had. Our driver was Marek, and you was amazing. Great to talk to, so welcoming and full knowledge. Marek gave us information driving to the destination and when we was finished offered to drive us anywhere in Kraków he wished to go after our trip. I will recommend thousand miles, to anyone who comes to Kraków their employees, if like Marek will be 10/10!!
