White water rafting on the river Zambezi was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I could not have picked a better company than Try Rafting Co. This Zimbabwean family business has incredible knowledge and experience of the river Zambezi. Very professional operation, guides were very knowledgeable about the area and each section of rapids. Safety Kayakers were very skilled and helped us feel safe as we faced off with class IV and V rapids. We were also fortunate enough to see some of the wild life this river has to offer.     We stopped for lunch in the village and experiences some traditional Zimbabwean food which was really tasty and it was nice to just relax and hang out for a bit. My sandal broke when I got to the river but the guys were able to tape it back up and helped me with the hike out of the canyon. This was a really genuine experience and loved every second of it. Suer friendly group. The pictures were amazing too and absolutely worth purchasing. Incredible experience I will be back!     Be warned you do have to hike in and out of the canyon but that is true for everyone rafting on this stretch of the river     Thanks for an incredible experience!

Once in a lifetime trip for sure! Guides were amazing, knowledgeable, fun, and safe! I highly recommend staying at the farm for an authentic and local experience. Great place if you are looking for something unique and adventurous! Loved the hosts. I had an amazing time with my family!

You can sense the passion that comes from the team, who are all united in providing the best experience for you and in the most Zimbabwean way possible. The rafting is professionally led by experienced and knowledgeable guides within the team. Safety is top notch, and the fun is absolutely guaranteed. What I love most is that you have to earn the fun by breaking a sweat yourself within the process, and that makes it so much more real and unforgettable. Lunch is in the village, food traditionally cooked by the village ladies, and you feel the essence of village life, tranquility and peace. There is also opportunities to hike, sleep in their village accommodation and generally just 'hang out' with generous locals. Of all the 'tourism operators', this is THE most genuine experience you could have.

We went from Kasane in Botswana to the border with Zimbabwe. We got picked up from there and had a great day! First the rafting which was awesome and then went to Vic Falls. Great crew! Lovely people!

Myself & my husband joined 3 other multi national far younger than us couples. Due to the nature of all those running the trip we all hit it off and had a great day out on the Zambezi. Everything was great fun, exhilarating, full on but with no compromise to safety. The guide was brilliant with clear instructions and we worked well together. It was well put-together and the food and drink at the end were a welcome reward for the hard work . I would return again with this company and do it all again. Absolutely fab experience.

Superb. A new outfit in town. Co-owned by a Zimbabwean and American. One of the co-owners is a guide himself who loves the river and has years in the business. They'll make sure you have a great trip. Reliable. Professional and one of the best things at Vic Falls. Yes, you could go with the other players in town, but this is a new business and it's good to support black Zimbabwean co-owned businesses.

Wow. Definitely happy I went with Mpala. Their tour guides were top of the line and very focused on safety, as well as keeping the energy and adventure going. Our guide knew everything about the River and made us feel safe and secured despite the intensity and power of the Zambezi. All the gear was provided for us, and the food cooked after the trip was so delicious. Definitely coming back soon with my family and friends because this experience was meant to be shared. When I arrived in Victoria Falls, me and my cousin wanted so much to do rafting in the Zambezi River, and I can’t be happier of the experience I lived with this guys ! Landscape was beautiful, the team was so nice, they took care of everything for us and they made us enjoy our trip so much. I recommend it for everyone who would try rafting in Victoria Falls, you will never forget this trip !

My rafting trip with the guys is a top ten favorite memory. A thrilling, personal, authentic Zimbabwean excursion I know I couldn't get anywhere else in Vic Falls. CANNOT recommend Mpala enough!!!! Unforgettable!!!

On était 3, deux de mes amies et moi. C’était la troisième fois que je faisais cette descente en rafting. Pour mes amies c’était leur première fois. Pour nous tous c’était une super journée avec Elvis et son équipe. Ils ont été super sympa et surtout très pro. A aucun moment on se sent en insécurité. J’étais pas super rassuré pour une de mes amies qui elle était terrifiée. Mais tout s’est super bien passé et elle a beaucoup aimé. Les poissons qu’ils nous ont servis au repas étaient de loin les meilleurs poissons que j’ai jamais mangé. Et il y en avait en grande quantité. Le seul bémol, selon moi c’est la monté à pied après le rafting pour atteindre l’endroit où l’on va déjeuner. La vue de la haut est magnifique mais elle se mérite !!!
