Great day with great people. The snorkelling spots were picturesque and it was even better under the water. It was my first time to visit the northern end of Whitehaven and it didn't disappoint. Zack and Shazza (Shannon) were good value, as was our bus drive Emily. Would highly recommend.

The experience was awesome. The boat ride across the "washboard" was drenching and exilerating - we were warned by the captain. The reef colours were disappointing but the fish especially "George" were beautifull. Whithaven beach incredible!!! Plus sting rays and sand sharks made the trip memorable. Staff were very competant and lunch and snacjs were good. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience! Snorkeling in two locations, guaranteed to see loads of beautiful Fish & coral.. Hill inlet lookout is spectacular! Plenty of time to spend on the beach. Lovely buffet lunch on the boat. Payton & the crew were fun & kept a close eye on everyone while in the water.. felt very safe. Highly recommend this adventure 👌

It was a great trip. Will was funny and willing to help. I would suggest to make it understood that you can go to the beach after you go to the lookout to give plenty of time to get to the water. Snorkeling was awesome, especially the second stop. Thanks for a wonderful memorable day.

We had a fab trip - it was a little rough going out but added to the fun. The snorkelling was amazing and so were the Whitsundays. The crew were fab - Paton, Reilly and one other - sorry I forgot his name. They kept us safe, informed and well fed. Fun day out in the Whitsundays and would recommend.

Super friendly and competent staff and a well organized trip. Even when it got rainy, Gus and the captain were funny and managed to keep everyone entertained. I had a great day!

Was a great trip but the weather was a bit iffy but that’s nobody’s fault. Whitehaven Beach and the lookout were fantastic and the 2 snorkeling spots were enjoyed by all. Laura and Will were a great team and looked after us very well. I really recommend anyone visiting the area to go on this excursion.👍👍👍

The entire trip was brilliant, Will and Laura were amazing. We had a great time on Whitehaven beach and snorkelling at Hook island despite the weather. The lunch and snacks provided were delicious.

We had had an amazing day visiting Whitehaven Bay lookout and snorkeling. Even though it was windy; the boat ride over was pleasant. Safety always comes first. The crew were amazing and although we know they do this probably everyday, never made us feel like we’re just tourist. They were very very educational telling us about the reef and how they are replanting the coral. Also how we can make a difference by eliminating using plastic and using Reef Safe Suntan lotions . The food they served on board was also very good and more than enough. My son was even allowed to have seconds. The highlight of the day was while we were snorkeling at Mantaray Bay, the staff fed the fish and we got to see a giant trevally and of course meeting George - a Māori Wrasse. He is awesome! The next snorkeling spot was just as amazing - a colourful display of coral. It’s like a flower garden underneath the sea. The only negative were the crowds from all the other boats but that’s what you can expect when you’re coming to see one of the 7 wonders of the world. Well done guys on running a great business.

An incredible experience exploring Whitehaven, the Whitsunday islands and Hill Inlet viewpoint. I snorkelled and scuba dived the outer reef 10 years ago and the Whitsunday islands / fringing reef (Mantaray Bay + Cockatoo Point) was on par, no doubt about it. The team on Thundercat are great fun and super helpful. ALSO, a massive shoutout to Travel Shack / Whitsunday Adventures who guided me and my friends through what the day entailed amongst other trips we booked with them. Highly recommend also.

Well organised day trip, with efficient friendly staff. The tour doesn't visit the main Whitehaven beach, just the north end near the lookout, which to us was disappointing. The snorkelling at 2 different locations was good, one had lots of fish which came in to be fed, the other area had more coral. The boat itself is basic so its important to know you may be wet most of the day, with your belongings wet too, depending on how calm or rough the water / winds are. On the way out and back we were hit with spray soaking us, and they had to use the tender to take us off the beach to the boat and we got completely drenched again. We still enjoyed lots of the day, the sites are definitely worth visiting, we just wouldnt choose that style of boat again. Probably more suitable for the young and adventurous.

We had the best hosts with Loz and Shannon. They were so professional and their knowledge of the reef was next level. They made the experience so fun and entertaining!. We loved the whole experience from start to finish. Great lunch as well !

We had such a fun time with Red Cat Adventures! Despite the weather not being the most ideal, we still had an extremely fun day with the crew! Our main guide who went by McLovin (totally forget her real name) had us laughing the entire time and was very knowledgeable on the areas. We stopped at White Haven for the lookout, swam a bit at the beach then went to 2 different snorkelling spots before heading back. A couple snacks were provided (brownies and some fruit) and a light lunch of various salads and make your own sandwich. Overall, had a great time and would totally recommend Red Cat to explore the Whitsundays 🫶
