Family had a good time and the kids stayed in the raft. We loved the tour guides, they are hilarious and could spot wild life like super humans.

We had an amazing time rafting with Chamo, Cristian and Pablo. The crew was super friendly and knowledgeable about wildlife in Costa Rica and kept us safe. We saw birds, the arenal volcano and even a sloth! We were able to do a private tour with just myself and my fiance. We Highly recommend doing a tour.

just amazing. The whole experience is a lot of fun. At the water, you are only a little more than one hour but still good. Highly recommended. Next time we go for levels 3/4. The staff is amazing. Moses, Wof! He is good. and Arlando is just fun to be with. experience.

The white water rafting was so much fun!! Giancarlo was an AWESOME River guide and made us all feel very relaxed about the rapids but also excited to take on the challenge. Would highly highly recommend!

Tavitha and Christian were amazing! They were friendly and answered any questions we had. There was some practice before we headed out. Christian has been doing this for over 20 years. You are in good hands. Tavitha took great photos which we purchased for our memories!

Carlos, Jimmy and the Chilean lady (don’t want to mess up her name) was absolutely amazing. Very informational, good energy, great customer service, I would absolutely recommend!! They also take photos during the tour which we love!

UNSAFE!!! MY THINGS WERE STOLEN!! I Signed up for this river rafting guide through the hostel with my friend. We are both young travelers from the USA and we were told this was a safe and fun excursion in La Fortuna. While we were on the raft, our backpacks were stolen. They were left under the watch of the "security"/bus driver. He was supposed to be the security that was watching everyone belongings while we were in the water. The rafting guides were at least kind and helped us locate the backpack with the help of iphone tracking. When we found the backpack miles away from where our bus was, my IPHONE and all of our CASH was STOLEN. Thankfully, my friends phone was still in the backpack so we could track it, otherwise our trip would have been completely ruined. The company made us go with them to file a police report and gave us a very hard time giving us a refund for the rafting. They took zero responsibility. This company LACKS SECURITY and SAFETY, ESPECIALLY for female travelers. I felt targeted and EXTREMELY UNSAFE. I do not recommend this company at all. I reached out to the company, the owner "Warren", and the Whatsapp contact many times. I asked for reimbursement for the cost of my iPhone which only seems fair considering they were the sole reason it was stolen. We had confirmation that this trip came with security and safety, which was a huge reason why we booked this. I did not get a single response about getting my money back for the stolen phone. I truly believe this company targeted us as our stuff was stolen and I would HATE for this awful act to happen to anyone else! Save your time! Do not book with this company!! It's not worth it at all!!!!!!!!!!

This was my family’s first time white water rafting and we had the best time. Our guide Jimmy was amazing not inky was he informative but he was very patient and just made our time with him very enjoyable. During our white water rafting experience we saw a sloth and a toucan. Jimmy was kind enough to let us pull over and look at them. We then stopped for a delicious snack of juicy pineapple and sweet watermelon. We then took a group picture and finished our tour with some fresh hot cocoa and delicious warm brownies. When I’m Costa Rica you must book a tour with the Costa Rica Descents and ask for Jimmy you won’t regret it.

We had amazing time for our first experience of white water rafting with the family. Warner our guide was very informative and was knowledgeable and was able to show us a toucan, a Rosetta spoon bill and a sloth. We were able to stop off to the side for a refreshing snack of sweet pineapple and watermelon. To end our amazing tour we stopped and had some fresh hot chocolate and delicious warm brownies. When in Costa Rica this is a must do and make sure to ask for Warner. Pura Vida!!!

The rafting trip was one of the top highlights of our time at Arenal. Our guide, Jean Carlo was friendly, knowledgeable and caring…making the experience fun and humorous as well. The scenery and wildlife made the rafting trip more than just a water adventure. We also saw a sloth sleeping on a tree, which was a treat for the kids. I highly recommend this tour!

This was one of our favorite things that we did out here! 10/10! Super fun and adrenaline rushing! Our guide Jimmy was soooo great! He knew so many facts about the nature and river. We’d stop and he’d point out wildlife! We got out to swim alittle too. Our guide is also really well experienced and felt safe. Make sure to wear good shoes for the rocks. This was overall a unique experience. The rapids were super fun. Our tour also provided sweet pineapple and brownies. Go ahead and book!

Amazing experience. The crew was great, they made the rafting even better. Jimmy, Tabita and Osvaldo helped my daughters (8 and 10 years old) feel safe as well as have lots of fun! They also helped us spot many animals along the way and told us many interesting facts about the flora. And the driver Carlos looked after us very well. This crew is a treasure! Pura vida
