We did the full day Whaleshark tour yesterday which couldn't have been more fabulous!!! The team were all great, friendly, well trained and organised - absolutely super. Everything worked like clockwork (© we are from Switzerland). And the fish we saw was mindboggling. At one time we were in the water with 4 whalesharks around us, plus a couple of Manta rays plus other rays - just an incredible experience. We were in the water at least 6 times and each time they timed the going-in perfectly so we could make the most of the time in the water and with the fish. It was an absolutely great day and we would like to extend our THANK YOU to the entire team on today's tour plus the people in the background makingt all happen. A once in a lifetime experience!!

Amazing experience! The crew takes great care of the participants and shares lots of information about the whale sharks and the whole area around Coral Bay. We snorkeled in the outer reef four times and saw whale sharks, turtles, manatees and manta rays and swam with them. A photographer takes professional photos, which you receive by email after the excursion. Culinary delights are also provided to keep your strength up.

We could sum up our day with two words: simply amazing. The whole tour is well organised and the whole crew were very attentive and caring. They always had everything under control which made us feel comfortable and safe. Among the crew members there was a photographer (Daniel) that made wonderful pictures so that we had the chance to really enjoy our day without constantly trying to get a nice shot.. Thanks guys for this memorable day! Keep up the good work!

Had a stunning day on the whale sharks tour. We saw 3 of these amazing animals and were able to get incredibly close (within the guidelines) without it ever feeling like we were stressing them out in any way. Watching this huge fish slowly disappear into the depths of the ocean will stay with me for a long time. The crew running it were very professional, but clearly focused on the well-being of the reef and the animals that live there, which is as it should be. The champagne at the end was a nice touch, as was including the photography in the ticket price. Cheers all.

5 star experience. The staff were friendly, professional and very much in tune with respecting the nature. We came across whale sharks with the boat (without the plane), which apparently is a very rare occurrence, and I swear the staff were more excited than we were! Their passion for the nature really shows through. They line you up in the water with great skill with the whale sharks for a brief glimpse of these amazing animals almost one to one. Highly recommend this company and this tour.

The best trip my husband and I have ever been on. All the crew are charming, helpful, knowledgeable and gave us the best possible experience enabling us to see magnificent Whale Sharks really close up , in my case by pulling me along in the water to keep up! Also saw other sharks too and turtles. Coral was wonderful and so many beautiful fish. We were given nice food and drink. Amazing underwater photographer present all day. The crew had both ours and the ocean inhabitants as their number one priority throughout the trip. Thanks also to the pilot of our spotter plane! Amazing day !!!

My wife and I had an unforgettable incredible day with the fantastic team onboard on 30/6/23. Many thanks to Bodhi, Sophie, photographer Laura and skipper Joy and crew member Jake. We didn’t see a whale shark but completely made up for by swimming with humpbacks close up , manta rays, turtles and a reef shark. This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! The team at Coral Bay Ecotours are superstars! My family and I have travelled many places around the world and participated in many different tours, and this one would have to be the best! The reef, the amazing marine life and those WHALE SHARKS!!! The tour would have been amazing even without seeing the whale sharks, but we were very lucky to swim with 2 different whale sharks on our tour. Manta rays, dolphins, turtles and reef sharks too. The food was fresh and plentiful, and the crew were so friendly, enthusiastic and full of knowledge. We felt safe the entire time, and could see that the crew really cared about making sure we all had the most memorable experience possible. The boat, Thunder, is a beautiful and comfortable vessel. Amazing photos to take away at the end of the day too (at an additional cost, but very worth it). Highly recommend Coral Bay Ecotours!

Amazing trip with a super friendly and knowledgeable crew. Not only did we see Whale Sharks, we also saw a variety of Turtles, Sharks, Dolphins and Whales

We have had a fantastic day out with the team today. The crew were helpful kind and informative. The kit provided was great and the wildlife mostly cooperative! Sadly we didn’t see what sharks ( hence 4 stars ) but the humpback whales weee amazing with stunning displays for us. Watching the manta rays was also an added bonus. Plenty of food and ended with a glass or 3 of bubbles 😍. I had a ball thank you all of you.

The crew were very friendly, bubbly and accommodating. Their local knowledge and passion for the marine life made the experience so much more enjoyable. We thoroughly loved the whole experience, so much so that we ended up booking onto the Manta Ray trip as well, two days later.

Can’t compare with other tour companies, but we were impressed with our experience. The staff were professional, helpful,friendly and experienced. They did their utmost to make everyone have a great time, both in and out of the water. We would highly recommend them.

Apart from a lack of whale sharks, it was a great day. Nature doesn't care that we want to see whale sharks but she did turn on Manta rays, heaps of turtles and amazing fish! Crew were fantastic - both on board and on shore. We had a deaf 7 year old and a 10 year old and both were very well looked after. We recommend this tour if you're in Coral Bay with a day to spare.

We had a fun day exploring the reef, seeing turtles, reef sharks, and even manta rays! The crew was super friendly, and their guides in the water pointed out harder to spot marine life like a wobbegong or boxfish. Unfortunately, we didn't see any whale sharks. We knew there is a risk of not spotting them but didn't expect chances to be that low - mid season. After the tour we learned sightings have been quite rare in Coral Bay this season. With only a few days in Coral Bay and well aware of popularity of swimming with whale sharks, we booked this tour in advance to secure a spot on the boat. I wish Coral Bay Ecotours would share the previous month's history of whale shark sightings closer to the tour date, and give the option to switch tours, when nature's odds aren't looking great. For context, the whale shark tour is roughly double the cost of their manta ray tour.

Genuinely happy staff. However there is nothing Eco about this company. It is a money making venture using the work ECO. Knowledge of crew was pretty average on whale sharks and other creatures. Such a prime opportunity to teach people about the vulnerability of the reef and how and why we need to treat it with the utmost respect but that opportunity was missed. Seeing crew throw dirty washing up water into the ocean was disappointing. There were to many people in the group (20) it was uncomfortable and you had peoples flippers in your face making it uncomfortable swimming in a group or getting back on board. Getting back on board was silly, they had a ladder and don’t let people use it, instead people had to struggle back on board… ok if you’re under 30. People got too close to the turtles etc which just ruined it for others when they swam away. Some of the locals told us the hit rate of seeing whale sharks out of Coral Bay this season is very hit and miss… safer to complete Whale Shark tours out of Exmouth which are getting 100% hit rate. When a company like this is charging top dollar… they set expectations and don’t deliver, it’s disappointing. Love Coral Bay and I will be back, but will not complete another tour from here I’ll head to Exmouth.

Wow, is all I can say about this tour company. Everyone is amazing, they work so well together and they make sure that you have an amazing day. Our tour was fantastic! We got to see a Manta Ray in the morning and it was great! Then we went on to look for whale sharks. The spotter plane goes up and they let you know where to go. We were so lucky to swim with a whale shark twice. What an incredible experience! We saw a feeding frenzy on the way home and the captain stopped the boat so we could enjoy that as well. It was so special. The food on board was great and they made sure that you were always taken care of. I would recommend this company 100%. Thank you for such an amazing experience! It made our anniversary just that more special!!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, they catered to everyone’s needs! Bit disappointing that a discount on a future trip isnt offered if whale sharks aren’t seen.
