We have kids ages: 13, 10, and 7. They all enjoyed it as did we (the parents). You get a nice overview of the history of Rome. I thought everything was done well. They pack a lot of information in. The whole thing takes about an hour. There are four small models that they overlay video to show you the history of that particular building or buildings. Then there’s a 30 minute movie that shows you the history of the city from its inception to present day. It is very casual. Everything is playing on a loop so you walk in and just join in. TripAdvisor said there weren’t any more tickets for the day we went but that was completely false. I was pleasantly surprised how much we all enjoyed it.

The movie was very good…it provided a thorough history of the city of Rome. They showed images of many buildings before they became ruins

Really informative and a great introduction to Rome if you're interested in the history. Very cleverly compiled and presented with holograms, reconstructing buildings and landscapes, and engaging commentary.

Good overview of the origin of Rome as a city. The individual presentations were interesting though would have been better with VR technology.

Very informative film and smaller recreations of the famous sites. A little expensive for what it is.

It was interesting. Very factual. Did it after being in Rome a few days and seeing many of the sights but this added detail. For the money, it was worth an hour

This is a fantastic way of orienting yourself before visiting the historic sights. As useful and enthralling for adults as children. If we had had another day at the end of our stay we all would have liked to see the show again, having visited many of the main sights - that's how good and worthwhile this multimedia installation is.

A extremely boring experience. Very disappointing. I expected a multi sensory experience going back in time but it was awful. It began with visitors being ushered into dark rooms to listen to an overwhelming amount of information while staring at boring models behind a glass case with a mirror. The minutes seemed like hours.eventually taken into the cinema to watch the most dull story of Rome. At least we could anll sit down!! I expected a journey into Rome which would pull me in in an engaging way. We couldn’t wait for it to end! Such a shame. Don’t waste your money or precious time!

Absolutely fantastic. Wish we’d been able to revisit at the end of our trip as well as the beginning. Would be my no 1 recommendation to anyone visiting Rome, whether for the first time or the tenth.

Pop up diaramas of ancient Roman architecture. Good narration. Friendly staff. It's a helpful way to understand ancient Rome.

An absolute MUST for children and people who may have less knowledge about ancient Rome and its history. It conveys the origins of Rome in an excellent way and deals with important buildings in the city. The whole thing is visually extremely appealing. The staff could be a little friendlier (as is so often the case at, in and around Rome's sights), but that didn't detract from the content of the experience. Absolutely recommendable. I thought this experience was kind of basic and not worth my time BUT… My 21 year old daughter thought this was the coolest thing we saw in Rome… She talked about it all week. So five stars from me for that! Great for families.

The Rome Experience was boring. It was like watching a 3D film but on YouTube- while standing. Our tour started at ten am and they did not open the door until ten on the dot.

Just excellent !!! Definitely recommended to do before exploring Rome. The cinema, different 3d models and plastic were truly amazing.

Heard about this place on Facebook prior to our trip and found ourselves nearby and with an hour to kill so have it a go. Glad we did it’s a interactive 3D experience showing the history of Rome it’s educational and engaging without being too heavy. There are 4 sections concentrating on different parts of the city or individual landmarks such as the Roman forums, we had just come from the forums and i wish we had seen this beforehand as it have a good perspective of what they looked like and their uses. At the end there is a 3D cinema show showing Rome from the very beginning to modern day and it’s great to see how the city has developed. Our 4 year old son was fully engaged with it and although we had been in Rome a few days it filled in a lot of blanks for us, maybe try and visit this before you explore the City proper as it gives you a much better understanding of where you are. Friendly and efficient staff who were on hand for any questions Highly recommend

This is an outstanding experience! It provides a detailed history of Rome from the very beginning; however, bear in mind that with the exception of the first portion there is no opportunity to sit for this presentation which lasts approximately 25 minutes.
