Jennifer Shuler was great, she not only stopped at some of the best views and navigated us to the many amazing waterfalls she was knowledgeable about the history, plants and birds. If you are concerned at all about booking a tour or finding these falls on your own you would be wise to choose a tour. Our guide, Shuler provided insights, snacks, and I felt very much taken care of and safe. Thank you Shuler for an incredible outing. I feel as though I have a new friend. Patty.

Amazing beautiful experience with Shuler. She was a wealth of information pointing out interesting plants, trees, mushrooms etc in the environment with history of the mountains and area. You are in good hands with this knowledgeable & experienced guide. This was a great non- touristy experience.

We couldn’t be happier with our guide and our experience. MK led us on an incredible hike and visit to multiple waterfalls. Her expertise in flora and fauna is terrific. She pointed out things we would have never seen on our own. In addition, she is an excellent driver and we felt like we were in good hands.

Had an amazing tour with Nico who started off by going out of his way to get us to the tour. We were with only one other couple who were a great addition to the tour. The easy/moderate 2-3mi option was perfect for our fitness and comfort level. Nico has a ton of knowledge of local plants, geography, and history which added greatly to our enjoyment of the tour and to our understanding of the Asheville area overall. The paths and waterfalls he chose were beautiful and just right for our group. It felt more like hiking with friends than a guided tour. Nico also made sure that everyone was comfortable and having a good time throughout the tour. Asheville Hiking Tours did a fantastic job! Definitely recommend them if you're looking for a comfortable and accessible way to start exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National forest!

Our guide Tiffany was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and friendly. The waterfalls and Outlook we stopped at were beautiful. We were hoping for much more actual hiking and less car riding time, but overall it was great.

Very professionally run tour - I would highly recommend. Brooks was very knowledgeable and passionate about the outdoors - everything from trees, wildlife to geology. We brought our children on the tour (6&8) and they had a great time too. I was very impressed at how well run the tour was.

This tour was one of the highlights of my trip. That everything was planned and taken care really made the outing pleasurable. There was ample free parking where we met. 13 people had signed up for the tour. Our group was divided into 2 groups. Our guide was Ian. We drove in a comfortable van up the Blue Ridge Parkway. This in itself was a real treat, as I hadn't gotten there yet on this trip. We were out on one really spectacular spring day and could see for miles. Ian pulled over at scenic overlooks several times, and allowed us to get out to enjoy the view and take photos. We left the parkway to enter the Pisgah Forest. Here I was glad it was Ian driving and not us. The roads were twisting, narrow and rugged, but he knew them well and drove safely. As we were driving, he would point out places of interest and shared some interesting facts about the area. On this tour we got to see at least 3 waterfalls, and all were an easy hike, nothing rugged. Once again, while walking, Ian told us about some of the plants and animals that live in Pisgah Forest. We got to see some of the mountain's more unique plants like Mayapples, Dwarf Orchids and Trillium, or bashful Lilies. There was a snack/lunch break and bathroom stops, like I said everything was planned perfectly.

Very scenic, laid back, friendly city. Loved the art, food, blue ridge parkway drive and hikes. We did the Mt Pisgah hike. Loved the view from the top. Wanted to do Craggy Pinnacle and Mt Mitchell hikes but they were closed in early April. Rankin Vault Bar has great food, is open late and right in downtown Ashville. Cambria hotel is modern, comfortable and right in downtown.

Niko was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot along the trail, from edible plants to finding a baby salamander under a rock. We had a great time.

We spent a day driving up the Blueridge Parkway from Ashville. We visited the Looking Glass Waterfall, Bridal Vail Waterfall and best of all the Dry Waterfall that you can walk behind and not get too wet. It is a beautiful drive. We'd like to go back to see it with the Fall colors.
