We had an amazing day trip, lead by our fantastic tour guide Diego. He was just the best, providing interesting information througout the day. 👌🏽 All in all it was an awesome experience, that we recommend to anybody who is up for a great hike in the beautiful Colombian countryside. Amazing waterfall hike at La Chorea. Leslie was a fantastic and knowledgable guide. She went over the rocks like a gazelle. Hike was beautiful, even in the dry season. Food provided was tasty. The ride there is long and bumpy.

This was a wonderful hike. Camilo, my guide, was very patient with me as I had to stop a few times to catch my breathe. The hike is challenging but the views are worthwhile.

About 90 minutes from bogota. Hike is 2.5 km one way. Some steep and rocky sections. Check there is water in the waterfall in advance. Our guide informed us in advance it was dry but we decided to go anyway and enjoyed the hike and landscape. We were very satisfied.

I really enjoyed this trip just outside the city. It was a beautiful walk. Due to drout the waterfall was a little thim, but i was given an option to cancel. I still enjoyed the trip a lot. I saw many different birds while walking

Luis (our guide) did an amazing job of showing us the trail and providing us with stories and context. Luis is very intelligent, knowledgeable and fun. We liked the tour a lot. Note that this hike is a pretty challenging one (I don’t think it would work for completely inexperienced hikers). We also had a good lunch after the hike, which was cooked with locally farmed ingredients.

Our guide Francisco was wonderful. He maintained the hiking pace that I was comfortable with. He was attentive to my needs for frequent short pauses / water breaks and was ready to offer a helping hand if I needed it. The terrain was not flat. The undulating hills were quite steep in several areas and due to the light drizzle that had passed, there were several wet and slippery areas. I did not need my jacket and Francisco helped carry it the entire hike so that I could be hands free. The waterfall is lovely. It is not as expansive as the Iguazu Falls in Argentina nor as forceful as Niagara Falls in Canada.... but the scenery is breathtaking with charming farms and flowers along the way. I was glad I took my hiking stick but did not need my poncho nor fruit, since both were provided with the entrance ticket. I would recommend this Gran Colombia Tour any time. It is totally doable even if one is not that fit and Andrea at reservations is efficient and excellent in communication.

I don't normally do guided tours but I highly recommend this one. It was great to see the Colombian countryside, and having assistance getting to and around the park was very beneficial. We are frequent hikers (on Canada's west coast) and found the most challenging part of this hike was coping with the altitude change. This is likely because we had only arrived in Bogota the evening before. So it's wise to have a day to acclimatize first. But as the hike went on, we got used to it! Our guide, Miguel, was awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, and leads the tour at an easy pace so you can take your time and enjoy the nature. We enjoyed chatting with him and learning more about his beautiful country, while also admiring the wonderful views around us. We felt like we were hanging out with a friend. Thank you!

This trip was fun and Ivonne was a lovely tour guide. The hike to the waterfall was difficult to and from the waterfall but was worth the views and the chorrera waterfall is stunning to look at in awe. Thanks Ivonne and your company for providing this amazing experience. Highly recommend.

The tour was amazing. The view was very beautiful and breathtaking. Towards the end of the hike it was a little challenging but it was worth it. The tour guy was very knowledgeable about the trip and the area and he was very helpful. He always checked on us during the trip to see how we were. I would recommend this to anyone it's a great experience.

Our guide Korinth was incredible. She guided us carefully up and down the steep climbs and was incredible patient when we needed occasional breaks. We felt completely safe and cared for throughout the entire journey, and she even sung Colombian nursery songs to help educate us on the culture and take our mind off the pain and altitude. I'd recommend booking and going EARLY in order to see the falls in total before clouds or rain roll in. I'd also recommend you condition yourself before going on this hike, or letting the team know you'll need to take frequent breaks to catch your breath. The views are worth it, however, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip!

Absolutely incredible. The hike is fairly easy, some steep inclines here and there, and a lot of slippery rocks and mud. Dress accordingly and you’ll do fine. So beautiful. My guide, Leslie, was a lovely human being. The kind of energy you want on such a magical journey. Highly recommended.

Amazing tour. Leslie was a fantastic tour guide and Jorge was a safe driver. Good lunch as well! I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone, but I do want to stress that the hike is strenuous, so if you are elderly or have little kids or knee problems it could be difficult to navigate through some mud and slippery rocks and steep slopes, but it is 100% worth it for the amazing waterfalls.

As a solo traveler and non-spanish speaker I was definitely nervous about booking any excursions. But I did so anyways and am totally happy that I did! My tour guide text me a day beforehand notifying me if anything I may need to bring along for our hike. The hike itself can be challenging (and this is coming from A U.S. Army officer). But it's challenging in a good way! I saw people of all (adult) ages out and getting after it. My tour guide was very informative and personable, he made the tour very fun. The waterfall is breathtakingly beautiful! You won't regret this tour!

We had an amazing time on the private hike to see the two waterfalls. Our tour guide Leslie was amazing!! Very friendly and made the hike that much nicer! She also pointed out interesting things along the ride there. The driver Diego picked us up in the morning at the hotel, and we drove to the park. The last 3km are a bit bumpy, but he managed well 😄 We hiked to the Chorrera waterfall. In total for about 10km and 500m of elevation. We then had a warm lunch nearby the Chiflon waterfall, before heading back to the hotel. You get to take amazing pictures from up close to both waterfalls, even one from behind! Highly recommended!!

The hike was absolutely gorgeous, and our tour guide, Luis, was super friendly and knowledgeable. We were super lucky to visit on a day when the waterfall was particularly full and didn't have to deal with any rain. The included lunch was also delicious. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bogota!

This tour is a must! The waterfalls and gorgeous property leading up to it were simply breathtaking. Hike took roughly 2hrs but you'll honestly lose track of the time due to the beauty around you! The hike itself is not for beginners, but my guide Gio was very patient, knowledgeable and communicative making it that much more enjoyable! Overall from pickup to dropoff, the tour was well organized and put together.

Jose, our wonderful guide, made our entire trip to Colombia! He spoke fantastic English, was really knowledgeable and very funny. The hike to the waterfall was amazing, and lunch was delicious! We then asked to have him and our great driver (Gustavo) again for the city tour we’d booked for the following day. Couldn’t recommend this tour, Jose & Gustavo enough!
