My family and I had a truly remarkable experience traveling to San Juan Lachao and zip lining. Our tour guide Alejandro was exceptional and provided a history of not just the surrounding region but Mexico as a whole. With his guidance we got to experience the mountains and local communities up close and he made us feel at home. He spoke perfect English which really helped us connect and learn invaluable knowledge about Mexico. If you go on any tours definitely ask for Alejandro!!!

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, 10 and 13 years old) had a fantastic day with our tour guide Alejandro. After about a 45 min hike to the waterfall we were able to cool off before heading to the zip lines. Both kids had a great time and were easily able to do the hike and zip lines. Alejandro and his crew were fantastic and made our day. I highly recommend this activity if you are in Puerto Escondido, you will not be disappointed!

This was a lot of fun. Very beautiful area. Easy walk in the woods to get to the cascada and first zip line. Our guide was fantastic. As were the zip line guys. Well worth the money.

Victor and Abisai were amazing hosts - they were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had an amazing time swimming, cliff jumping in the waterfall area and exploring the zip lines with the locals. Next time when I go back to Puerto Escondido I would love to take their tours again!

This tour was amazing fun. Our guide, Alejandro, was a fountain of information regarding the local history and also the natural history of this area of Mexico. The ziplining was fantastic fun, what a rush! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing time with Alejandro! He answered all of our questions (even ones we had not related to the tour). I would give 20 stars if I could! The waterfall was beautiful, the zip line was a blast, and Alejandro is very knowledgeable about the area and he has the best laugh ever!! We would go on any tour with him again. In fact we booked another tour for the very next day which I will review also. We even met most of the family who runs the tour agency and everyone was wonderful!! Highly recommend! We’ve taken several tours and this was one of the best! can’t wait to return to Puerto Escondido and book more tours!

Pensábamos pasar el resto del viaje descansando, pero por cosa del destino conocimos a Alejandro un guía extraordinario que contagia pasión y amor por Oaxaca. Nos llevó a conocer San Juan Lachao, un viaje familiar muy ameno lleno de historia, naturaleza y comida local. Nada como el senderismo y las tirolesas para depurar estrés citadino y recargar energía y actitud en la sierra madre sur de Oaxaca. Alejandro y la agencia de viajes nos cambiaron por completo la perspectiva de todo lo que puedes encontrar y conocer de Oaxaca y Puerto Escondido. Altamente recomendado. Fuimos en tiempos de covid 19 y todo estuvo seguro y con las medidas adecuadas. Mil gracias 💜

Ich habe mit Valfred Tours schon mehrere Touren unternommen, da die Guides perfektes Englisch sprechen und sich sehr gut in der Region auskennen. Unteranderem waren wir bei einer Baby-Schildkröten Freilassung und in einer Lagune nachts Baden (Bioluminiscencia), dies war mein bisheriges Urlaubshighlight. Aber auch die Seilbahn-Tour durchs Gebirge war sehr eindrucksvoll und ich würde sie jederzeit wiederholen. Insgesamt ist Valfred Tours meiner Meinung nach das kompetenteste Reisebüro in Puerto Escondido mit zwei Standorten in La Punta de Zicatela und oben am Carizalillo (Rinconada).
