The tour was started from the city center. Dream Balkans Travel representative Asim informed us that we will be guided by war veteran, who knows more than a lot about Sarajevo's siege places of interest and all the 90s war history. Adnan was very friendly and he was ready to share his exceptional knowledge about famous sights of Sarajevo not only related to the war times, but also about history of Bosnia and Yugoslavia. If you would like to receive maximum of experience, I do recommend to prepare yourself with the background for a dialogue. We will surely return there for the next portion of impressions!Ā

Our tour guide, Adman told his personal story of the siege as he drove us to the sights. We learned many aspects of the war we had not known from news reports in the early nineties. It was one of those emotional experiences when you are in complete awe for the strength of the human spirit.

We booked our tour locally at the tourist information in Sarajevo. Our guide Ibrahim, was the best guide we could have asked for. He explained everything very understandably and had a lot of knowledge. We have learned a lot. The tour is great to gain insight about the war. And I promise you, you learn so much. I recommend it to everyone :) Thank you Ibrahim, for the great tour!

Our group has a tour of Sarajevo and the War Tunnels from our Guide Enes. He was amazing. So informative and entertaining. Learned so much about the city, the war years, and Bosnian humor. He went the extra mile to take two of us to visit the Museum and the Haggadah after the tour ended. FIVE STARS!

Mustafa fought in the siege of Sarajevo so he was passionate! He had excellent English, background knowledge. Not only did we tour the ā€œtunnel of hopeā€ but we saw the top of the 1984 Olympic bobsled run, a historic Jewish cemetery, the old walls of Sarajevo and a sniper vantage point. Walking through the forest near the top of the mountain was lovely. And we got to see sunset and twilight over the city. It was an amazing tour!!!

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was an impressive person who had fought in the war whilst living through the siege of Sarajevo. The tour was informative and moving. We learnt about the complexity of the conflict, the long term consequences for individuals and society and the work being done on reconciliation, which our guide is part of. It was a privilege to spend four hours in his company.

The best tour Iā€™ve had in years! Aid was a fantastic guide who gave a real personal touch to this tour, showing the impact of the siege from the perspective of a local was eye opening. I learnt so much from him and would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn about the fascinating history of this country. We got to see so much, from the Jewish cemetery, the bob sled to the tunnel.

We are so glad we took this guided tour with Hafiza. His own experience and reflections on the war and peace process were insightful and thought provoking. We learnt a lot and came away with a deeper understanding of the causes of conflict, the geopolitical context and the fragility of peace - and not just in Bosnia! Our tour of the hills surrounding Sarajevo including the site of the Olympic bob sleigh track was a great way to understand the physical landscape of the area and how Sarajevo was besieged. We would really recommend this tour. Thank you.

Asim the manager of Info Bosnia provides excellent service. He goes out of his way to ensure your trip is perfect. He realised that it was my birthday and presented me with a box of tradional sweets as a gift. I did two tours with them. The War tour was with Adnan as guide. Adnan is a war veteran so listening to his experiences in the war made the tour personal. I highly recommend this tour. The walking tour was with Amina and the tour shows you the highlights of Old Town. I highly recommend this company for tours.

The personal nature of hearing out guides stories of life during the siege and being in the battles was also credibly moving. Seeing the supply tunnel (800 meters) was sobering. This war was complex an nuanced and it really help to understand what happened.

Our guide Adnan was a war veteran who gave a personal depth to the tour. He was very well informed and open to questions of all sorts. Probably the highlight of our stay in Sarajevo.

Hafiza from Info Bosnia Tours recommended us to take this tour and it was really good. Our guide Adnan drove us and another couple to historic sites like the tunnel of hope, the bobsled track, and an old building that was a strategic point during the siege. But most insightful was the thorough conversation during the tour with our guide Adnan. He is a veteran that has worked as a peace activist after the war: his perspective on how to process and overcome the cruelties and live together after the war was truly inspiring. Thank you Hafiza & Adnan for this experience!

This tour is absolutely amazing. I joined with my friend, we both learned so much about the war, their history and efforts. Mr. Adnan, our guide, told us that he used to fight as a soldier back in the war and has been committed to peace activities for many years after. I have so much respect for him sharing his experience with us and putting efforts to keep peace. Iā€™m so glad that I joined this tour. Strongly recommended!

This tour not only takes you to the Tunnel Museum, but has other stops on the way to and from the museum. Visiting the museum with a veteran who actually used the tunnel was a memorable experience. Adnan made sure his guests wouldn't miss anything and answered very question very patiently. In addition to the museum, the tour takes you to an old hotel that overlooks Sarajevo which, its history and role in the war aside, is actually a great picture spot. We also got to walk around what's left of the Olympic installations and stopped at the Jewish cemetary.
