Despite the uncontrollable pipe issue in the building prior to the tour which almost had David (chef) forced to cancel our class, he and his team adapted quickly and still was able to not only hold the class but spent the extra time to explain in detail each step of the experience from shopping for ingredients, reasons why certain steps are done in the cooking and preparation process and allowed us to take breaks, enjoy each others company and had some great laughs along the way. This class was really something my wife wanted to do and while I was originally Luke warm with an open mind, I’m so happy we did this. Outstanding job by David, Mohamed and team! Highly recommend!!! Great job guys! B&H

Really fun Day! Going into the market was a great addition to the class. Thought the day would seem very long, however, it flew by. Learned a lot about making pasta and enjoyed talking with the others in the group. Can't wait to try out what we learned. Chefs David and Alice were Great!!!!

What a great experience this was. Exploring the market before cooking added additional information. Our chief lead us through each process of everything we made. So much fun and food! Not just a tasting but lots more.

We loved the opportunity to cook with the pros. We first made the short walk to the market and learned about Olive Oil and also Balsamic Vinegar. A tasting experience and insight into the supply of quality food products for the city of Florence. We were guided into making Bolognese and then a Tiramisu and making Pasta, and the top of it all, was to enjoy our creations. A fun experience with lasting memories that I hope to use soon to enjoy my own Italian cooking!

Overall, we enjoyed this experience. The visit to the market in the morning gave a real authenticity to Italian cooking. The demonstration and class itself was very well structured and enjoyable. However, it must be highlighted to whoever is assisting the chef that they must wash their hands after handling raw meat. This was not the case and we had to point it out to the chef before he intervened. This element was disappointing and unsettling as we both felt very much on edge knowing that the work station was shared and was contaminated as a result.

Unforgettable - educational And fun. The tour of the market, explanations of olive oils, truffles, balsamic vinegars, meats, biscuits -- was fantastico. The cooking of two types of pasta and the meat sauce and tiramisu were hands on and doable for everyone. We of course got to eat what we made and it was delicious. The best thing for me was the explanations of what we see on the surface -- the difference between the pastas of the north and south, of dry v. fresh, how to use aromatic herbs, and how to beat yolks v whites of eggs...could go on...but very enjoyable. It does take 5+ hours and you will leave full. If you are not able to take the class, please visit the market regardless.

Our market tour was a delightful journey through the Florence Central market. The highlight, of course, was savoring the fruits of our labor as we sat down to enjoy the delicious meal we had prepared together. The flavors, aromas, and the shared camaraderie made the dining experience truly special and unforgettable. Overall, our Florence market tour and cooking class surpassed all expectations. It was a perfect blend of cultural exploration, culinary education, and immersive enjoyment. I would highly recommend your tour to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable culinary experience in Florence.

What an amazing time! 3 of us booked in for the class and we were blown away. Loved going to the Market to hear and taste about the produce and what’s good. Got to meet other people in our class. Was happy to have a more smaller intimate class. So many tips and tricks I will take home with me. Fresh pasta has never tasted so good!

Had a blast with this cooking class. Made some tasty pasta and tiramisu. Thomaso was so interesting and entertaining. Would definitely go back to learn a new dish.

This was such a brilliant experience. The tour of the market and tasting was excellent. We then returned to the cookery school to learn how to make pasta and tiramisu. The lesson was fun and informative. The wine was free flowing and we were lucky to be with a great bunch of people. The chefs Stefano and David were excellent hosts. We would highly recommended this experience.

The instructors were exceptional. The market tour was informative and opened our eyes to what a true market looks like. Unfortunately the class had too many people which limited interaction. There wasn’t enough hands on to truly learn how to cook like a Tuscan.
