Ethel was a good guide. Very informative about the town squares and history of the city. The Old town section was very pretty in the architecture.

We spent the morning with Ethel for our Quito walking tour. She was fantastic and really took the time to explain both the historical significance and political history of Quito to better understand the what and how of Quito. We toured many of the churches which by far were all unique and amazing and several of the plazas in the old town. Ethel was a great host and very accommodating and accomplished! We had an amazing experience of Quito tour today. Our guide Juan was very professional, informative, funny, adaptive. We learned a lot about Quito during the tour We tasted local dishes and see the interesting parts of the city in Sun and Storm which was an excellent addition. Highly recomended!

I am extremely happy that I took this walking tour with Juan because I absolutely enjoyed every second of it. I learned so much from Juan because he is very knowledgeable and professional. Not only did he explain to us all of the important details regarding the religion/culture/food, but also answered all of our questions with great enthusiasm and patience. We were caught by an unexpected thunderstorm in the middle of the tour, and Juan was super caring for our safety as we managed through. Juan also has a great sense of humor and I enjoyed his stories and jokes. The whole tour is full of laughing and smiling. The experience is indeed fantastic. One of the best city tours I have ever taken. Highly recommended.

I made the tour with Juan and he was a really kind guide. We walked through the historic center and he explained all about history, religion and the different places. The tour was almost 4h and it was really relaxing to walk with him through the city. We saw all the important sights and he answered all questions really well. Highly recommended!

Loved this tour! Juan was wonderful and really made us fall in love with Quito. I learned about the history, the churches, the art, the culture, the food, he even got us a few samples along the way. Now I want to bring more people here so they can experience Quito the way we did!

The tour was the perfect start of my journey in Ecuador. Evelyn is a gentle souls who underlined the tour with a gentle portion of humor and lots of knowledge about the city. She guided us around the old town with all its famous sights as well as secret places for cacao tasting, we tried traditional sweets and Canelazo, which is a very tasty hot alcoholic drink with cinnamon. First time in Ecuador, so enjoyed learning about the culture while walking the streets of the historic center. Enjoyed the churches visited and the basilica. The chocolate tasting tour was fun as well. Emily, our guide was very informative and attentive to the groups needs.

Today we walked a very impressive tour through the old town of Quito. Our guide Juan gave us an excellent insight into the history and culture of the city. The highlights for us were the views from the Basilica and from the Iglesia de San Francisco.

We had an amazing time with this city tour! The guide was very knowledgeable. David was able to answer all our questions. We walked the city for 3 hours and showed us some nice spots to stop and get coffee or dinner. During our tour we visited the different churches and squares. My favorite part was in the chocolate factory and traditional desserts shop where could taste some candies and cholates. We recommend doing this walking tour at the beginning of your trip to familiarize yourself with the city. You will also get a local's insights of things to see and how much it costs to see the major attractions. This walking tour was very exceptional and highly recommends it!

Our Ecuadorian guide David spoke clearly in good English. He took the time to teach us lots of things we otherwise would never have discovered, especially in the churches. The pace was good and the selection of places this dude was nicely varied. He added context it’s really enhanced the experience. It’s a professional operation; We were quite pleased.

Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about Quito. We liked learning about the history of Quito. It was interesting to learn how the Incas, Spanish, church, and native Ecuadorians shaped the city. We especially like tasting the local foods. The chocolate tasting was the best!

My friend and I did the walking tour to get acquainted with Quito and we walked all over the historic district with David. He was great and we ended up having a private tour and David was so nice to take great photos for us. I highly recommend this tour.
