A very good review of Albania’s history and current situation, matched with seeing most key attractions of the Tirana’s city center.

Arora was an amazing guide who brought so much enthusiasm and knowledge to the tour. Two hours in the center of Tirana was the right amount if time to get a feel for the city. I highly recommend this tour.

This was our first visit to Tirana so started our stay here with a walking tour to get to see the main attractions and learn about the city. We did the Sunday 1000 tour and there were many people doing the same - we were split into 4 groups by language and the English speaking was split in 2. We were lucky to have Eri as our guide and he was knowledgable, had a good way to do the commentary without overloading us with facts and also injected humour as well. The tour started outside the Opera House and finished a short walk from there. It took about 2hrs 15mins and was about 4kms. The walk took in the main tourist attractions in and around the main square and also we were given tips for other things to do and places to eat after the tour. Really enjoyed it and set up our 3 days in Tirana very well

Did this the first morning we were in Tirina. We booked online, but alot of people just turned up at 10am. Excellent to learn from a local where to go. Eri our english tour guy was execellent. He uses a small speaker so i could hear everything he said. Approx 2 hours. Answered all my questions. Defiently a good thing to do one your first day!

We found this tour both interesting and enjoyable. Quite a large group had gathered by the planned start time of 14:00, so were split into two groups - some had booked and pre-paid and others, like ourselves had opted to turn up on the day and pay at the end by donation. We found Bailey, our tour guide, an ex-teacher from the U.S.A extremely knowledgeable and informative. Bailey showed us the main sights and talked in an engaging and entertaining way, using stories to bring information to life alongside her own insight and a little of the local language thrown in for good measure. We were moved to hear about life under communist rule and tales of the resilience of Albanian people. Bailey was kind and generous with her time we found, happy to answer many questions, offering itinerary suggestions and ideas to those that asked and seemed genuinely happy to be with everyone, even staying behind a little at the end with those that clearly enjoyed her company (as we did). Would definitely recommend.

This was definitely worth doing! Oriented me to the city. I think our guide (she was American, I am sorry I don't remember her name) did a really good job; a lot of interesting history but not overwhelming, and she made it somewhat interactive. My friend wasn't really that into history and her attention was kept the whole time. Especially because Tirana's city has so much interesting architecture, this tour was really great. Thank you!

Great tour, interesting and engaging with a lot covered in the time. There was not much walking as most of the sights of Tirana are close together

Bailey, our tour guide was fantastic! We did this tour on our first day and would highly recommend to others, a great way to see the whats around.

Eri did an amazing job of providing ancient history, Communist history and modern history along with visiting all the most important points of interest. He even suggested restaurants and bars! Very informative!

Best way to get your bearings in Tirana and see all the main city sights. Very knowledgeable guide who was very enthusiastic about his subject and welcomed any questions from the group. Very interesting to hear the history of Tirana from the guide which was better information than we got at any of the museums we visited. Also good to meet tourists from other countries on the tour. We revisited some of the places pointed out by the guide. We were so glad we did the tour first so that we could decide what to do during our short stay.

Eri was the best tour guide I've had. Everything he said about the communism in Albania was compelling and took us all on a ride through history. I was drawn to his description of the city's beautiful attempts at bringing back life in the city through its growing tourism and cultural pride and heritage. If you get Eri consider yourself blessed. Great introduction to the country.

The small group-tour became a privat tour (4h) and was presentetd by a very nice and helpful guide. We got so much of Albanias history and the nature.

Eri was knowledgeable, fun and warm. He obviously has a passion for the history of his country. The tour was well paced and took in so many different sights. You really got a feel for the place and the transition it has been through. A perfect start to a week in Albania.

The tour was quite informative and covered the major sites in downtown Tirana. It was a great introduction to the city and Albania.
