Daniella was a very knowledgeable and cheerful guide! She walked us through the historic buildings, crazy streets, sites, and monuments, while narrating both the ancient and modern. She knew the answers to all our questions (we had a lot) and had great recommendations for everything from places to eat to places to go dancing. This tour was a great introduction to our week in Mexico City.

We learned about the beginnings and different eras of Mexico City. Fernanda was full of helpful information and truly had an answer for every one of our questions.

Fer was an awesome guide, great local knowledge and history. Bonus that it was just our family of 3.

Fernanda, our guide, was great. Tour very interesting and a good way to get an overview of the historical center. Initially we had a hard time finding group because we couldn’t get into the Zocolo due to protests and had to walk a long way around. Folks at Kactus central were very helpful in locating guide. Give yourself extra time before meet up if not familiar with CDMX.

Great walking tour of CDMX historic center. Very good overview of the area’s history from the Mexica to the present with a very friendly, knowledgeable guide. Would recommend it highly for first time visitors to the city or anyone looking for a refresh on the historic center’s main points and history. Overall a very good value.

The tour was great ! Very informative and fun! Alexia was super knowledgeable on seemingly everything , covering history , current events , religion ,arts and all that with a twist of a young energy!

Fantastic tour by Alexia. I visit Mexico City often for work but this is the first time I've had any time to visit the centre. I'm sure there is much more to see but Alexia did a great job of covering some of the key things in the 3 hours we had. I had no idea the city centre is sinking and Alexia's knowledge about the history, myths, current affairs etc. was brilliantly delivered. I would definitely recommend to others.

Fernanda was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and funny. We covered a lot of ground and history in 3 hours. Good value for the price. There were about 15 of us in total. My only complaint was that I thought we would go into the Museo del Templo Mayor and Palacio de Bellas Artes as it says entrance is included. Still learned a lot and the whole family enjoyed it.

Because it was Good Frida, we couldn’t go into the church’s. Our guide was good and she did the best she could.

Charming tour guide Erica. She did her best in spite of streets full of police and sites on the itinerary closed. All in preparation for a huge Women’s Day protest. I totally get it and hope the members of our group are forgiving. She was knowledgeable and showed pride in her work.

Alejandro was a very competent guide whose insight on architecture helped us understand the problems with the sinking of key structures in the historic district. He recounted his personal experiences with life in Mexico City in colorful ways - and helped us understand the three periods of Mexico's history - the pre-colonial, colonial and Republican eras. He conveyed as well some of the continuing challenges of the country's development as well as some key accomplishments. Well worth the money!

The tour of the historic center was fascinating. Our guide, Alejandro, quickly got us hooked at the zocalo and cathedral and the layers of history underneath. The sloping streets from the city subsiding on its historical island foundation, the nearby Aztec pyramid base discovered in 1978, and his many examples of pre-colonialism, Spanish colonialism, Mexican independence & revolution, all of it putting the streets we walked into wonderful historical context. One cannot do it justice in a review but it was by far one of the highlights of our visit to Mexico City. We really appreciated Alejandro’s keen eye on Mexican history that was filled with his passion for its culture and architecture, and the possibilities for its future.

Alex was our guide and he was so personable and knowledgeable. He had a very good sense of humor and you could feel his enjoyment of the sites, stories and history. Highly recommend.
