Our guide, Nejib, was personable, funny and knowledgeable. We wandered all through Old Town, visiting churches, plazas, the open air market, monuments, and then the climb up Castle Hill. Along the way, Nejib kept us entertained and informed of the history, the stories and the culture of Nice. A 3-hour walking tour that passed quickly and left us with a solid overview and feeling for this beautiful city. Thank you, Nejib! Your tour was a highlight of our visit to Nice!

Nejib was a fantastic tour guide! We loved hearing about the history of Nice. He did a great job of making sure we knew where we were as we walked through town by pointing which direction landmarks were so that we could easily navigate through town while exploring on our own. So glad we took this tour as soon as we arrived in Nice! He had some great restaurant recommendations and tips for getting to other areas around Nice. The views from Castle Hill are amazing! Thank you Nejib for coming out on a rainy morning (which luckily cleared up soon) to show us Nice!

Hit all the high points—Massena Square, Cours Saleya and, the highest of all, Castle Hill. The view from Castle Hill was spectacular with all the Bay of Angels spread out before you. Our guide was one of the best ever for a short tour of this nature. He gave us history of the area that really amused us and made the places come to life. Kudos to him for being such a consummate storyteller and professional. I read beforehand that the ascent up Castle Hill was possible by elevator; however, the elevator was broken at the time. It was quite a climb for a 70 plus person but I made it thanks to some lovely young ladies who kept an eye on me on the way up and a kind young man who did the same on the way back down. Might not have gone had I known the elevator was out of commission (hate to hold up a group) However, the view from the top with spray from the waterfall was magical! Sorry my husband was under the weather and couldn’t be there—he would have loved it. Thanks for the great intro to the Nicoise experience!

Great way to see Nice! I did this the first day and it was great to see the city and understand the layout. Plus we got GREAT recommendations. Really interesting history learned and very fun guide. He knew a bunch of history and facts about Nice which was great to learn as well. I highly recommend doing this tour! Plan for 3 hours of walking around the city. So glad we did this!

Nejib was a very entertaining guide. He took us to parts of the old town I'm sure we would never have discovered. He gave an excellent potted history of the town which we found fascinating. The tour was at a good pace. We didn't feel rushed at any time nor did we feel we were hanging around. Nejib went over and above by taking lots of photos and sharing them with us and also by sending recommendations of restaurants and places to visit around Nice after the tour had finished. Thank you Nejib for a really interesting morning in this beautiful city.

Albert may not be the king of Monaco but he is the king of Nice. I think no other guide could present such a thorough historical view of the area. His explanations of the changes in the culture and the political climate were amazing. We saw so much and learned so much that the three hour tour went by fairly quickly. We highly recommend his tour as a great introduction to the Old Town and the Castle Hill.

I was the only person signed up for the tour, so I was able to have a tour In French instead of in English. I was surprised that my guide, Najib, didn’t cancel but he said that he never cancels, no matter how many people are signed up. The tour lasted three hours with the last thirty minutes or so in a heavy rain. Najib was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I couldn’t’ have asked for a better guide! I appreciated all the historical information he provided.

Our guide was very personable, had good humor, had wonderful knowledge of Nice’s history, and welcomed any questions. Rather than cancel our history walking tour in the middle of the program due to rain, he offered to resume it in the afternoon when it did not rain. That made for an even longer and more informative tour.

Neijib had much knowledge about the history of Nice and communicated this in a very engaging way. He took a lot of pictures throughout the tour of our group, leaving us with lot of memorys and picture to look back on. Guiding us through the old town of Nice and giving us many tips for the rest of our stay, which among other things made us try seafood pasta at Mamma Mia (by reccomandation from him). This turned out to be the best meal during the whole stay! Probably wouldn’t have eaten here otherwise. Thank you once again Neijib!

Nice walking tour around Nice Old town. Very informative guide Nejib - had I great time there! Good knowledge of history, good plan of the tour. Definately - recommend for the first visit in Nice (and also different recommendation for pasteries, restaurants, bars and local food). Great!

Nejib was very kind and informative. I could not locate the meeting point in the beginning. I was within 100 feet of it and Nejib messaged me and then walked to pick me up. There was only two people on our walking tour that day. Nejib showed us the old town, the opera house, the flower market, the church. He explained about the history of the area and the local specialties. Sadly, I had to leave the tour 20 minutes earlier due to travel commitments and I did not climb to the waterfall. Nejib is a superb guide and loves his city!

Hands down this has to be the best tour of Old Nice! You will not find a better tour guide than Nejib. He is SO good and passionate about what he does. He went above and beyond for us on our tour. He is extremely knowledgable and was very accommodating if anyone needed to stop for anything. Just a great guy with a wonderful personality. You will see so much. I would totally book this tour!!

Nejib was great! I was the only one who signed up for the tour. December season is not as busy. But rather than cancelling it, Nejib conducted the tour as if it was a regular sized group. Nejib obviously loves and is passionate about introducing Nice and its history to visitors. He kept it interesting and very informative. I highly recommend Nejib.
