Janet was an absolute delight. She brought Beaufort's incredible history to life. She shared a good mix of older history (18th and 19th century) with more recent events, including several movie locations. She shared visuals so we better understood Beaufort's strategic location. Janet was so enthusiastic it was impossible not to be excited about the town and its history.

Beautiful homes and architecture. Guide was knowledgeable on history and culture. Beaufort is beautiful.....and you see a lot of that on the walking tour.

Janet is a gifted historian, a fantastic storyteller and a delightful woman with a great sense of humor. She immediately created a sense of community among we tourists and thoroughly shared the fascinating history of Beaufort. We could not have seen so much up close or in house via a tour on boat or carriage…or on a self guided walking tour! This tour was the highlight of a 6 day road trip.
