It was very interesting as the guide was from Nicosia originally so knew her way around. The tour started over the border in the Turkish side. Would highly recommend.

Amazing tour! Learnt a lot from a Nelin- she was wonderful, worldly, and shared her culture, country and its history with such incredible passion. She pointed out her fav spots, her fav artists and everything in between. Loved the entire tour and I absolutely would recommend this. Fun fact, she is a from a very famous family; ask her about it :)

Finding tours when travelling solo in Cyprus has been a bit of a challenge (unless I want to pay a full group fee) but Franz took me on a solo (or in this case a private) tour around the old town of Nicosia. He is very knowledgeable and well connected and knows the city and its history well. As a surprise bonus I got to also see a dancing dervish performance and that was the cherry on top! Thanks Franz! I will definitely get in touch when planning any future Cyprus excursions.

Our guide Nelin was excellent. She explained the history of the divided city and country very clearly. This was an excellent way to see the north side of the city and to hear stories from someone who grew up there and really knew the place was amazing Absolutely recommend this tour

We loved our tour guide and she spoke very good English. We learned a lot about the different types of architecture from the different periods of the life of Nicosia or Lefkosa. It was great walking in the market and also learning about the caravanserai, an ancient roadside inn where travelers could rest and recover from the day's journey. We tried Turkish coffee and a tea with cinnamon and clove made by the owners of the cafe in the caravanserai. We shared the tour with 3 siblings from Germany. It was quite a pleasant day. We clocked about 12,000 steps on our watches with pedometers.

The tour was great. It gave us the perspective and information we needed to enjoy Nicosia. Nelin was our guide and she was very passionate, informative and pleasant. She walked us through all the important sights of the Turkish side of Nicosia and also gave us tips on where to have the best coffee and chocolate cake which we truly enjoyed. My wife and I highly recommend the tour. It was definitely worth it.

A calm and pleasant walk through the Turkish Cypriot side of Nicosia. Nelin, the guide, accompanied everyone's curiosity and carefully explained the city's history. The buildings and streets visited were very well chosen. I booked this tour on Viator and I advise this tour to anyone thinking of visiting the northern part of Nicosia.

Seeing how different North Nicosia is vs South Nicosia. Such beautiful old buildings and a vibrancy in the streets. Yena my guide was outstanding and infused stories of how her own family were impacted during 1974 and her own impressions as a child of people across the green line.
