Pat is a wonderful story teller! Entertaining, funny and educational. If you want to visit the museum and church be sure to plan separately as it is not included on this tour.

Pat was perfection! The tour showed amazing views of Kilkenny but it would not have been the same if Pat was not our tour guide. His story telling immersed us in the vast history of the area and he is obviously a popular local as his interactions with other locals added such an amazing and fun touch to the entire tour. The attention to detail in Pat's narrative and his fluency of speech. Even though there were only 2 of us at the start he did not dilute the whole package.

Pat was absolutely fantastic! I’d give him 6 stars if I could. Kind, funny for adults and a ton of kids stopped him for pictures during our tour - great for all crowds - but most importantly, super knowledgeable! My man knows his stuff!

He provides a historical background that really helps you understand the motivation of the people involved in the history of Kilkenny. He’s a fountain of information and never boring. Pat was great - witty, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about his town. He seems to know every little detail about the town and its history and is eager to share it or answer questions. Our tour lasted 2 hours, we walked up and down the Medieval Mile and Pat was pointing down tiny details which we would have surely missed and told us stories about those places going back centuries. Very much enjoyed the tour, thank you, Pat!

Such a wonderful tour. Pat provides an incredible amount of information at the perfect speed. We walked the town on our own but with Pat, this narrow street has a totally different meaning than just a street and that window is not just a window. Highly recommend. it was very enjoyable!
